I had to learn this 4 times
"A man that chases two rabbits catches none" - Chinese proverb I used to have multiple businesses, then I realized I should only have one Then I had multiple niches inside that business, and I realized I should only go for one Then I realized I had two dream avatars, and then I helped one Then I tried to solve multiple problems or that dream avatar, and I realized I should only have one The crazy part? Every time I went from multiple -> One, I started making more money NEVER try to catch two rabbits

How To Host Your First In-Person Event
Just finished hosting 50+ Skoolers from around the world in my hometown Belfast. Here's three things I learned to help you plan your first IRL event :) // 1. Don't plan the schedule too strictly Everyone's favourite moments of the week were unplanned. - The unexpected topics we covered - The random places we went for dinner - And the laughs/tears we shared along the way There's a reason why @Sam Ovens and @Alex Hormozi start every single 1-day with a blank page. @Nick Guadagnoli calls it "emergence theory," and it's the secret sauce most IRL events skip. (It took me 7 back-to-back trips to Vegas to finally figure this out lol. Don't take as long as I did). // 2. Leave a little wiggle room for things to "go wrong" Something @Ted Carr and I always talk about is that "the difference between a trip and an adventure is that something goes wrong." - Getting stuck in fog while hiking up a mountain - Forgetting a towel while going sea-swimming - Not having enough chairs because so many people showed up All these things created "shared experiences" for us to go through together — which resulted in super-powerful memories, bonds and stories. We didn't get it all right. But we had a lot of fun along the way. // 3. Your Community is craving in-person connection more than you think. People spent thousands of dollars to fly to Belfast from places like Canada, France, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, United States, and Australia (35 hours). The one reason they came? (According to @Calvin Hollywood) "Proximity," AKA to be around: - Like-minded people - Who are trying to achieve the same goal - And a group where they felt like they belonged This is the reason people joined your community in the first place. Why not take it offline?

Build Your Skool X Airtable CRM (In Under 20 Minutes) 💻💰
First off...love skool ❤️ We have our free community, low-ticket paid communities, and high-ticket backend programs on skool. It´s helped us generate well over 7-figures with my newest company 💰🚀 One issue we were having, though, was following up with leads inside of the Skool Chat...So we ended up creating a custom solution on top of Airtable and it 2x´d our sales from Skool in the first month. So, I wanted to share that with you all (if appropriate - admins?) so you can drive more sales on top of this epic platform that @Sam Ovens created and @Alex Hormozi continues to grow! 💪 Here is how to build a custom Skool CRM on top of Airtable (In Less Than 20 Minutes): https://youtu.be/9TwFusGA1To?si=i-LlKEGi9T6J0J2E Enjoy guys 🥂

Simple MRR Calculator
ton of love on yesterday's "Playbook for $20k MRR" post (thank you) wanted to make the calculations even easier for people so I created this MRR Calculator for people (shout out to @Harold Meadows for the idea) just click "file -> make a copy" and then play around with it variables you can change are: - Price (E10) - Sales Conversion Rate (E8) - Free Conversion Rate (E6) - About Page Visitors (E5) this really helps visualise how the tiniest change in key variables can create massive swings in MRR example (using avg 18% free and 4% paid conversion rates) - 1,000 about page visitors - 180 free members - 7.2 paying members - $1000 price point = $7,200 MRR if I add an extra 200 visitors a month, bump my conversion rates 2%, MRR looks like this 👇 - 1,200 about page visitors - 240 free members (an extra 60) - 14.4 paying members - $14,400 MRR that's a 2x MRR from just a tiny % increase in each metric small hinges shift large doors 🔥 by seeing this objectively, it's easy to choose where to focus energy to make improvements to your traffic and conversion systems ... ... then the game becomes focusing all energy to improving that key metric and watching the outcome change that allows you to create velocity as you have a destination in mind (speed + direction = velocity) which is more beneficial than just speed alone hope you found this super nerdy content valuable! nick ps: going to add basic "advertising metrics" to the spreadsheet today to work out CAC, cost per click, etc based on your proposed monthly ad spend

Noob introducing myself
Hey friends. My name is Weston. I’m new to Skool and extremely excited! I currently operate a brick and mortar insurance agency. Not necessarily looking to get away from it per se, but I am looking to build a community that will allow me to generate more income so I can also put more into growing my agency. I have big goals and loads to learn. I’ve been on here for maybe 17 hours now and I’ve already seen SO much value. I’m excited to find other communities to join myself. At the end of the day I want to help as many people as I can. I’ve had some wild experiences in life and been through some things, through most of it, I would have killed to have a community to turn to for support and friendliness. I cannot wait to connect with you all and hopefully add value to you.
