A way to have free and paid in one space?
I have seen this requested often, and my brain during a call fleshed out a way to do it in an outside of the box way. Do I think having separate groups is worth the cost? Absofuckinglutely, even paying $300 a month for the value of weekly calls in games, the one day masterminds, plus the opportunity to be around others having fun, making money doing what they love is worth more than that. Here is a creative workaround, to keep everyone in the same space… yes it’s more work so wouldn’t be for everyone. However if you are just starting out this may be an option. You have your community set as free. You get peeps on calls and go this is what’s free, if you want more access to me for group calls or 1:1’s I offer this monthly rate ($99 monthly) or annual ($4999), the monthly gets you such and such, the annual gets you that plus x. Then you set up your classroom for the free info open to everyone, stuff for monthly behind a manual unlock… then annual behind annual unlock, or manual if it won’t let you do annual when the group is set to free. They would have to be removed and then you switch to the paid option in settings so they can rejoin on the call, and then you manually add them to the classroom stuff they paid for. Classroom stuff can also be tied to calendar calls, you can set calendar calls to be only for the peeps in a specific module. This gives the extra classroom and calls to those that pay, and keeps everyone in the same community space, which means you aren’t pulling your most engaged members from your free space and then it’s crickets. If you need a chat space for just the paid members, that is one downside because everyone has access to the community chat, however having folks talking about the paid stuff in that space may also help free members decide they want to pay as well… otherwise you would need to organize a paid chat for specific topics off platform, just make sure it’s around very specific things because otherwise you run the risk of paid peeps not logging back in to skool which is what you don’t want 🤪😉

@Deborah Spence the $300 was for if one does a free group, low ticket and a high ticket group. With your $99 for one community that gets you admission to skool games group, no extra cost. The most you can charge for an annual cost for a group is $4999, $999 monthly. So it would be free, then low ticket could be whatever price, then for the high ticket it would be more cost but done annual price instead of monthly. Does that make more sense?

@Matthew Thompson you would pick Alex over Leila?? I might do the reverse, but that’s because we get the benefit in games of seeing him talk biz every week plus the masterminds prolly 😜

@Matthew Thompson dude the image didn’t even load till just now. I will spare you the details of the shitstorm that has been this week causing my brain to be complete mush, but for shits and giggle in case it makes someone else laugh I will leave it 😂 plus it makes us even for him saying Hawkins once when greeting me on the weekly call 🤪😉
Would love to see a better way to onboard members :)
Really been thinking about the member onboarding experience with skool. It would be cool to see an 'onboarding wizard' that took them through your community without having to use valuable realestate elsewhere. Dropped some more thoughts in the video below 👇 Would you want to see this?

How do you make a killer post in your community?
👇🏻 What are a few of your favorite tips and tricks that helps your content stand out from all the rest, and have peeps coming back to your community on the regular? Here are a few things I do/don’t do 😉 🌎 Be yourself, “talk” in the post like you would if the person is standing in front of you in real life! (IE, would you use a bullhorn and give them your top 5 things to achieve whatever without asking them questions or taking a breath?) 💻 Don’t use a chatbot to make a post, if you want to use it to tweak something or for inspiration, great, but most can tell when something has been AI generated at this point. (Peeps are attracted to you (and what you offer) based on the energy you hold and what you convey… if everyone is using ai then it all sounds the same and peeps won’t give two shits…) 💭 Ask them what their thoughts, feelings, and yes opinions are… bonus points if it’s at the top or midway through, and not just at the bottom. (People like to be part of a conversation, to be seen, heard and share their experience…) 🍉 Give tangible examples for context, something that helps them relate to what you are sharing. (Ie if you are talking about the gym, give an example for context about one time you went to the gym or what happened there etc) 🙏🏻 For fucks sake, don’t be a bah humbug… have fun, if you are having fun and are excited about what you are sharing, the likelihood that others will want to join the convo goes up 🚀 Have you posted lately? Either in your own community or elsewhere?? How did it go? If you are hesitant about posting share why below and let’s see if we can’t help you ditch some mindfuckery so you can actually do the damn thing and reach your goals quicker 😉

Worried about what if it doesn’t work?? But, what if it does… what if you take your path, walk through the storms, and the magic unfolds…
