101 contributions to Skool Community
Why I'm going ALL IN on Skool... (and why you should too!) 🔥
When I first came across Skool, I had no idea how big this platform could become. But the more I looked into it, the more I realized: this isn’t just another platform... it’s a movement! Reason 1: The wave is coming! Think of Skool as a massive tsunami, and we’re still at the shore, watching it roll in. Earlier this year, Alex Hormozi made the biggest investment of his life into Skool. For those unfamiliar, Hormozi is a business machine. He only bets big when he’s certain of the return, and his faith in Skool says it all. Skool already has millions of users and is quickly increasing. The question is, will you be there to ride the wave or left behind on the sand? I’ve decided to carve out my space now. As Skool grows, so does my community - organically. There’s still time to join this early stage and position yourself for explosive growth. Reason 2: The network effect Here’s the beauty of Skool: when one community grows, everyone benefits. Think of it like this: someone joins Skool because they see an ad or piece of content about starting a community. They join that community, learn something valuable, and start exploring others. Before long, they’re in communities for sales, traffic, systems - whatever they need to grow. And here’s the kicker: you didn’t spend a dime to get them there. Every effort from every community owner indirectly benefits the entire platform. If you set yourself up right, this can drive members into your community without lifting a finger. Reason 3: The power of focus Skool isn’t trying to be everything... it’s focused on one thing: building the best community and course platform. That’s why competitors, no matter how hard they try, can’t keep up. They’re always a step behind. Skool’s relentless focus on improving its platform means it’s constantly evolving. The UX, the features, the simplicity - it’s built to scale, and when the network effect fully takes hold, it’s going to explode. So, what’s your move? This is your chance to get in early and position yourself for massive growth. Skool is still in its early stages, but the wave is coming, and those who act now will collect the rewards.

Yeap. For those that see it...Skool is building an a AI-proof platform that focuses in human being interaction which will be BIGGER as AI becomes more prevalent. Skool will be the only place that will allow businesses to actually build connections with their customers/clients/members that maximizes LTV unlike anything else out there.
One Time Payment For Members
Would it be possible to have a one time payment option for membership to my community rather than a monthly or yearly recurring? I get that the yearly is pretty much a one time payment, but it just sounds and looks cleaner if I can guarantee them they only need to pay once.

Here is a silly question: What made you ask the question in the first place? Did you test something out that made you want that option? Looks like starting as a free community and offering your courses for a fee would solve that problem since you don't want to have recurring charges for the members.
Developing Shy Members
What do you do to develop shy members? The ones who join your community, but it feels they never engage or put themselves out there. For many people, joining this platform is intimidating. I'm naturally extroverted and bold, so putting myself out there isn't hard. Are there other ways we can help people get out of their shells in our communities? We can: DM them Tag them Ask them specific questions Create daily/weekly/monthly tasks and/or challenges Always looking for new ideas to help our more introverted community members! p.s. if you're an introvert, I'd love to here your thoughts!

Starting with the premise that majority of people have been trained to follow instructions (think all the schools they had in their lives). Add to the mix what your standards are for your group. The formula to get the right members would be: Very specific action oriented instructions for members to follow or face getting kicked out + high standards of what you expect of each member (post, like post, support others) consistently = active members.
How to Protect My Course and Community on Skool?
I uploaded a paid course on Skool Classroom, but I see some problems. People can download, screen record, or take screenshots of my course. This means they can take my course and sell it to others. Also, with the 7-day free trial, anyone can join, download all the content, and leave without paying. Another problem is that people who buy the course can see the community members list. They can message everyone in the group and sell my course to them. If my community depends mostly on the course content and the content is not safe, it will be a big loss, right? Does Skool have any way to stop these problems? Are there plans to add features to protect course content and the community?

Great comments and one "fix" would be to give away your course for free!!!...wait what? Give so much value and free stuff that others tell people about your community. Then sell services to access YOU! It might be a bit weird...but the most valuable product in your community is Your COMMUNITY!! Once you have structured your community to be automated via your members, they will produce content for you. People don't stay for products, they stay for the members/friendships they build while in the community.
Voice Notes in DMs 🎤
Honestly would be a game changer feature. 1. Can articulate words and tone better 2. Save time 3. Make stronger connections therefore stronger communities Whats everyone else's thoughts?
