Phase 3: DM Setting -- Takeaway
There is a lot of good & useful information in this chapter of the course. Particularly, with transferring the DM/online messaging language to phone call frame. Personally, I am a "phone call person" over a "text message-er;" so I am looking forward to gathering the same information and driving the setting to an appointment but in a more natural phone conversation environment. While this section covered warm call setting primarily; there is a guy I have been seeing on IG a lot lately that drops his cold call content & I particularly like the way he breaks the 3rd wall by addressing what he is doing. In this way he disarms the lead & humanizes himself. Something I have also noticed is that he is always simultaneously doing a task, like playing jenga or ironing clothes. I feel like these "natural fidget" tasks make him speak in a more natural way. Much like how if you are on the phone with your friend or mom you might start cleaning the house or pacing around.
