10 Things I Would Tell My 20-Year-Old Self
1. INVEST IN YOURSELF - Focus on self-improvement, fitness, and financial literacy. Discipline is key to growth. 2. SET CLEAR GOALS - Define what success looks like for you and break it down into actionable steps. 3. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH WINNERS - Network with people who elevate your game and push you to improve. 4. MASTER SALES AND MARKETING - Learn to sell yourself and your ideas. These skills are crucial for scaling success. 5. PRIORITIZE HEALTH - Physical strength fuels mental resilience. Take care of your body and mind. 6. BUILD A PERSONAL BRAND - Share your journey, insights, and value with others. A strong brand opens up new doors. 7. STAY DISCIPLINED - Discipline creates freedom. Stick to your commitments, even when it's hard. 8. BE RELENTLESSLY AUTHENTIC - Don't aim to please everyone. Be bold, real, and unapologetically yourself. 9. THINK BIG, NEVER SETTLE - Set ambitious goals, stay hungry, and push yourself past comfort zones. 10. BUILD STRONG HABITS - Create routines that keep you disciplined and consistent. Habits drive long-term success.

I am now telling myself that at 60. Better late than never!!
The scale can play games
Recently I heard someone say they get on the scale AFTER taking their progress pics. I think this is a BRILLIANT idea. I got on the scale FIRST this week and the scale was up by quite a bit. 😳🙃 making me feel a bit frustrated. I had to remind myself that I had increased my carbs on leg day, I just had leg day and was still fatigued. Then I took my pics. 📸 Then I compared Day 1 to this week. I lost ZERO POUNDS!😳 BUT CHECK IT OUT!!!!❤️👇🏽 📸 128.4# in BOTH pics!!!! ANNNND, 2 days later almost 2# whooshed off!!!126.8# today!!! 💪🏽👏🏽💪🏽👏🏽💪🏽👏🏽💪🏽👏🏽💪🏽👏🏽 Trust the process!!!! Julie Batt

You’ve got that exactly right- trust the process!! Everything aligns and comes together when it’s time. Great work!
67 and going strong
https://youtu.be/XBkVNBf-hHk?si=kdLnaZnyx1OGt-2r ........If I can do this, so can you ! I see my faults, I've still got work to do, but hey, try something outside your comfort zone. Proud to have a goal and see it through to the end. 🥰 @Anthony Phaèsse Hopefully this link works https://youtu.be/XBkVNBf-hHk?si=kdLnaZnyx1OGt-2r

Very beautiful Karen! You did a great job just letting all your hard work shine through!! I have this nagging thought to do one more physique show while following carnivore. Watching you definitely motivates me and shows that we can still strut our stuff in our 60s!! Thank you.

I think they are nearly there. This is what 27k steps a day gives you.

Sugar
Sugar in a baby’s brain is called ADHD. Sugar in an adult’s brain is called dementia and Alzheimer’s. Sugar in the eyes is called glaucoma. Sugar in the teeth is called cavities. Sugar in the joints is called arthritis. Sugar in the blood is called diabetes. Sugar in the skin is called ageing. Sugar in your sleep is called insomnia. Excess sugar in your system is called cancer. Sugar on Wall St is called a multi-billon dollar enterprise. Doctors, the governments and the media are telling you that the problem is not sugar and that the treatment is to keep taking injections. That’s like telling someone with a nut allergy to keep eating nuts but use an Epipen. How much money do you think these drug dealers are making out of your injections from eating sugar? Last time I checked, the ‘dia-businees’ brings in US $100 billion per year…that’s $100,000,000,000, that’s 11 zeros! And then we are told that red meat is the cause of all the illnesses we are having. That with calorie restrictions, a “balanced diet” and regular exercise, you can outrun these diseases. Really?
