5 daily tasks update!
Hey fam, so Kristen helped me pick out 5 daily tasks that will help me improve my life. They are: no tech 30 minutes before bed, read at least 5 pages a day, journal at least one page, drink 100oz of water and stretching for 10 minutes a day. 1) The 30 minutes of no tech before bed forces me to read and journal before going to sleep and it has improved my quality of sleep significantly! 2) Reading 5 pages a day might not see like a lot but I am always reading a bit more than that because just getting started is the hardest part. This having a small goal in mind is really helpful in getting the ball rolling. 3) Journaling has actually become a task I look forward to doing! It’s one of my favorite parts of the day and it helps me release some steam. 4) Stretching has helped my injuries like crazy!!!! I was in so much pain even while doing physical therapy so stretching is game changing. It’s getting myself to do it that’s the hard part but once I do it I always feel better. 5) Lastly… water. I am so bad at this. I really struggle to stay hydrated or at least struggle tracking my water because I have different water bottles for different purposes and I’ll add ice and it’s honestly the absolute hardest thing for me. Kristen has some great tips and advise and it’s helped make a little progress but I still have some ways to go. Thanks for reading. I hope your daily goals are going well!

Tips on Hydrating
Remember to hydrate in this hot weather Here are some do's and don't's Do Not: -Do not chug your water -do not forget to eat anything all day -do not leave your water bottle in a spot that is not near you Do's: - take sips of water throughout the day (helps reduce the annoyance of restroom breaks) -add electrolytes to your water (pickle juice has natural electrolytes) - make a summer fruit popsicle/ eat fruit as a fun way to stay hydrated

Drinking enough water is totally my biggest challenge right now. I am far from consistent. Thank you Kristen!
Goals and progress
I just got out of a two year relationship where I’d brushed all of my needs under the rug. Kristen has helped me and is continuing to remind me to put myself first and set small goals to reach everyday. Since then I’ve started journaling, reading, and putting my mental and physical health first. My goal moving forward in addition to my 5 daily goal is to build my discipline and go to the gym every morning. I have fears of the gym at the moment because of my body image and it makes getting there 10x harder than ever before. I want to get up at 6am and get it done. And I’m going to. Thank you Kristen and the community members she brought together. I’m so excited to be here and for us to all better ourselves!
