What is your core belief around community building?
IMOβ¦ this will determine the success of your community. Iβm curious to know your thoughts! Which one do you resonate with? ππΌ Person 1: - doesnβt like talking to peopleΒ - thinks they have nothing of value to add / share with othersΒ - is starting to sound like a bot when talking to their βdream clientsβΒ - is afraid to show up as a leaderΒ - doesnβt participate in any community outside of their ownΒ Person 2: - enjoys talking to people - adds value to peoples lives (even if thatβs just through being themselves- thereβs value in that too ;)) - doesnβt feel like an icky salesperson 24/7 - is confident showing up as a leader for their peopleΒ - has their own set of communities theyβre highly engaged in themselvesΒ Subconsciously, a lot of us are βperson 1β. I know I was when I first started gaining a bit of a following and thought βoh sht. Now I need to provide value to these peopleβ π© Iβve had to rewire a lot of my beliefs around community building and I think thatβs essential if youβre here to build your own community for the long run too. Hereβs some affirmations that can help: - βIβm building a community of people I LOVE hanging out withβ - βThe people inside my community just GET MEβ - βIβm loving all the conversations Iβm having because Iβm helping change peopleβs livesβΒ - βMy people inside my community LOVE showing up for meβΒ Side note: Iβm starting to become person 2 and it feels AMAZING π Leaving you with this reminder: You DO have something of value to share with your people. I highly recommend reading 100M offers by Alex Hormozi. Iβm currently reading it and itβs helping me take all my crazy wild ideas and put them in a nice package which is making me feel confident enough to sell it ππΌ NAV π¦
