What is your core belief around community building?
IMO… this will determine the success of your community. I’m curious to know your thoughts!
Which one do you resonate with? 👇🏼
Person 1:
  • doesn’t like talking to people
  • thinks they have nothing of value to add / share with others
  • is starting to sound like a bot when talking to their “dream clients”
  • is afraid to show up as a leader
  • doesn’t participate in any community outside of their own
Person 2:
  • enjoys talking to people
  • adds value to peoples lives (even if that’s just through being themselves- there’s value in that too ;))
  • doesn’t feel like an icky salesperson 24/7
  • is confident showing up as a leader for their people
  • has their own set of communities they’re highly engaged in themselves
Subconsciously, a lot of us are “person 1”. I know I was when I first started gaining a bit of a following and thought “oh sht. Now I need to provide value to these people” 😩
I’ve had to rewire a lot of my beliefs around community building and I think that’s essential if you’re here to build your own community for the long run too.
Here’s some affirmations that can help:
  • “I’m building a community of people I LOVE hanging out with”
  • “The people inside my community just GET ME”
  • “I’m loving all the conversations I’m having because I’m helping change people’s lives”
  • “My people inside my community LOVE showing up for me”
Side note: I’m starting to become person 2 and it feels AMAZING 😏
Leaving you with this reminder:
You DO have something of value to share with your people. I highly recommend reading 100M offers by Alex Hormozi. I’m currently reading it and it’s helping me take all my crazy wild ideas and put them in a nice package which is making me feel confident enough to sell it 🙌🏼
