Blackout curtains/blinds
Anyone here have blackout blinds or curtains, and what’s your experience been so far with them? I’m thinking of buying these for myself, but there are so many options and I don’t know what I should be looking for exactly, it’s pretty confusing. It seems like some of these work in blocking out 100% of all light from outside, but they have to be perfectly fitted to the window frame? Appreciate any help!

Honestly I forgot that people existed without blackout curtains (I couldn't!!). I just got mine on amazon. (after getting the sizing from 3+ times lol) Make sure they're bigger than your window so you have some overlap etc. Even if they do not fit perfectly they will 99% better than not having them. I couldn't image sleeping without them, especially right now with it being light at 10:30pm in the UK.
What do y’all think about Apple’s recent Ai?
It’d be so cool if we can utilize the ai in our productive workflow so that we may become even more efficient as our performance improves. Can’t wait to finally become humanoid 🦾

I nerd out over shit like this. Anything that’s more efficient I’m gassed for. Need to disable the phone on MacBook though. Negates the whole point of me locking my phone away. Airplane mode might be an easy fix

@Mar Es can you give me a TLDR on the ai feature? Siri now has access to openAI? what else? is it useful stuff? I just got excited at the password manager because i don't like lastpass or nordpass🤣
Incense Bad for you?
Big fan of burning incense while working (and so my place smells nice). Recently, I've been shown a few articles suggesting that burning incense isn't as harmless as users initially thought. Should i look at alternatives or is the statistical significance minute?

Automatic Oura -> GSheets?
happy Monday biohackers! In additional to the peak health system, I like to transfer my health data to a Sam Ovens style sheet. I find it better for my overall understanding of health optimisation etc. Has anyone successfully made, found or heard of a good API system (excuse me tech bros) to automate this process. Would be grateful for ideas or to be pointed in the correct direction. Peace out 🤙

Optimal HRV?
So I think I’ve heard Billy mention in some old video or somewhere that HRV should optimally be around 100ms, not lower or higher. On the other side there is Whoop who say that HRV metrics are personal and one’s goal should be to get them as high as possible. Could someone clarify this? What is an ideal HRV score, and is there a point of diminishing returns?

@Billy Harris just to capitalise on this thread. So as HRV is highly personal, you can only compare your HRV to your baseline? To give an indication of adequate volume, recovery and general health? As opposed to having HRV targets set in stone. I hope this is the case as my partners HRV is triple mine🤣

@Andries van der Werff I fell into this trap of wanting a high hrv but it’s highly personal. My partner’s HRV is 180 and mine is 53 🤣 we follow the same lifestyle
