Boost Your Gut Health: The Science-Backed Benefits of Eating More Yogurt
I get asked a lot about how to improve gut health, so I wanted to share this study with you that shows how eating more yogurt can help. A study with 4,117 people confirmed that eating yogurt has many benefits and even suggests that the more you eat, the better it might be for your gut. On average, yogurt contains about 100 million live bacteria. While not all of these bacteria make it to your gut, researchers wanted to see how yogurt affects the variety of bacteria in your gut. The results were clear: the more yogurt people ate, the more variety of good bacteria they had in their gut. Specifically, two types of healthy bacteria—S. thermophilus and B. animalis—were found in larger amounts in those who ate yogurt. People who ate more than five servings a week had even more of these bacteria compared to those who ate only one to five servings. Gut health isn’t just about digestion. Your gut is connected to your brain, heart, and thyroid health, among other things. So, by taking care of your gut, you’re supporting your overall health. Eating fermented foods like yogurt is one of the easiest ways to improve your gut health. Just one serving a day can make a big difference. So, if you want to support your gut, your health, and your daily performance—start eating yogurt! Here’s the full study if you’d like to check it out: Yogurt Consumption and Gut Biodiversity Study

Why Personalised Supplementation Matters 💊
Having spent the morning refining my 1-1 client @Ryan Stainsby 's personalised supplementation protocol, I was inspired to write this post and provide you guys with some value. Your body is unique, and so are its nutritional needs. Generic supplements might not address your specific deficiencies or health goals. That’s why it’s crucial to leverage a personalised supplementation protocol based on your blood test results. This approach ensures you’re giving your body exactly what it needs to thrive, helping you optimize your health and performance effectively. Here are some statistics that highlight the importance of personalised supplementation: 1. Over 90% of people are deficient in at least one essential nutrient, such as vitamin D, magnesium, or omega-3s. Personalised supplementation can target these deficiencies directly. 2. Up to 50% of people taking over-the-counter multivitamins may still have deficiencies or excesses in certain nutrients, highlighting the inefficiency of a one-size-fits-all approach. 3. Poor nutrient status is linked to 11 million deaths annually, making it one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide. Tailored supplementation can address critical nutrient gaps and improve health outcomes. 4. Vitamin D deficiency alone affects nearly 1 billion people worldwide, increasing the risk of osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and immune dysfunction. Personalised protocols ensure you’re getting the right dose for your needs. To help you get started, I’m offering a special resource: the Peak Health Systems Supplementation Document/Template. This document will guide you in creating a supplementation protocol tailored to your needs. If you’d like to receive this resource, simply comment the word “SUPPLEMENTS” below, and I’ll send it to you on Monday. Let’s take a personalised approach to your health and make sure you’re fueling your body with exactly what it needs!

Steven Bartlett’s Huel and Zoe Ads Banned for Being Misleading 👀
Have you spotted Zoe and Huel ads on your social feeds or during The Diary of a CEO podcast? It turns out that these ads, promoted by Steven Bartlett, have been banned. The reason? A watchdog found that Bartlett didn’t make it clear he has business interests in both companies, which makes the ads misleading. For context, Steven is an investor in Zoe and holds a director position at Huel. In the ads, he’s seen drinking one of the products, claiming: “This is Huel’s best product.” According to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), this could easily be mistaken for an independent review, and they ruled it was “likely to mislead.” Personally, I couldn’t be happier that this has happened. It’s incredibly important that creators like Steven, who have direct access to large audiences, are held accountable for their actions and don’t continue to promote products that I perceive to be poor, lacking in scientific grounding, without evidence-based approval, and ultimately misleading in their claims of significant benefits to customers. Stop listening to people and creators who spew information as if it’s fact, without any evidence to support their opinions, biases, or the validity of the products they promote. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0rwz5xkrg8o
