@Carrie Angel is it necesary fasting? What is your bmi? Are you overweight? Longer fastings could cause body mass lost, wich its bad in a long game
Hi everyone! New member!
My name is Diana Beatrix, I’m 32 years old, mother of two. I had surgery on the right side of my tongue 7 weeks ago because of an ulceration that didn’t heal by itself( I had it for almost 1 year and it was getting worse). It turned out to be a squamous cell carcinoma, stage 2, infiltrative (with perineural invasion, without lymphovascular invation). HPV virus not detected. I already went to the oncologist, and they want to surgically remove my lymph node(on the right side) and also another tongue surgery to clean the area better. They also said that I will have to go trough radiotherapy. Of course I would like to avoid surgery and radiotherapy. I am very interested in a metabolic approach because I believe in it and understand it. I would also like to know if anyone went or is going trough a similar situation (any information helps). Thank you very much, blessings to all of you!

Welcome
PETSCAN Results
IMPRESSIONS 1. Sclerosis osseous metastases are similar in size and number to prior (last petscan May 25, 2024) 2. No Evidence of avid extraosseous metastatic disease I have chosen to push off chemo for another 3 weeks. The oncologist didn't say this, but based on my labs, how I feel and no active growth that we can see on this Petscan, I think it's fair and hopeful that disease status is stable. My goal is to continue to move in the direction on clinical remission. To accomplish this, I will be continuing ketogentic dietary approaches, exercise, HBOT, and at home infrared sauna a long with off label prescription drug-use. I may look at other supplements to improve symptoms and outcomes. Overall, I'll take this as a win! Best of health to us all!, Kimberly

How do you feel?
Introduction
Hello all -- I'm glad to be part of this community and already have learned A LOT by reading some of the classroom posts. I have stage IV, have been on chemotherapy plus diet plus HBOT for the last 8 months since my diagnosis with surprisingly good results. I am now going to start following the full-on press/pulse protocol. Question: My doc advises against using Fenbendazole with chemotherapy. Can anyone point me to research or to the answer as to whether there are any known negative drug interactions between Fenbendazole and chemotherapy drugs, specifically Capecitabine pills? Crazy that we have to self-medicate like this, but here we are! All individual experiments ... thx ...

My Experience in Body Composition and Metabolism, Maintaining a GKI Below 1.0
I am just sharing a thought. I have been tracking my GKI for nearly two years, and meticulously tracking macro and micro nutrients all along the way. I've documented nearly all of my personal (my body) research, and there are a few main things I learned; maybe it will prove helpful for someone else: (1) There are no two bodies that are exactly identical in metabolization of foods and fluids. This seems pretty obvious, but i mean there are specific foods that person A can each, and maintain a GKI below 1.0, and person B eats the same exact foods (even given BMI, age, rest, stress, etc are nearly the same,) and they could have very different GKIs. (2) There are SO MANY hidden chemicals, compounds and potential carbs in over-the-counter and restaurant foods. Example, some olive oils throw me out of a GKI below 1.0. And allulose also throws me out of a GKI below 1.0. (3) I also eat about 50-100 g of organic dark leafy greens daily; I do this for my own personal reasons: fiber and detoxification (fat holds and stores chemicals, this is well documented.) I have found that any added inorganic chemicals (such as processed foods or from pesticides) interrupt my GKI. This doesn't exclude specific cleaning products, soaps and airborne sprays. (4) Eat and cook in the most traditional and basic form possible. Use minimal ingredients, despite the urge to use any sweeteners (even if non glycemic.) Some "non glycemic" sweeters also throw me out of a GKI below 1.0. Beware of "KETO FRIENDLY" labels--mostly totally false advertising. (5) Try to walk 2-3 miles a day; I've directly observed, even with higher calories and protein intake, my GKI drops below 1.0 with ease, keeping in an 80/15/5 (fat, protein, carbs) ratios. And it doesn't hurt to light fast for a good length, daily (electrolytes, water, tea and coffee OK.) But beware of any potential chemicals in the tea, coffee or water; it appears, at least with my body, that any products with pesticides make achieving a GKI below 1.0 more difficult.
