Wednesday Workout Reminder: If you really think you don’t have time to get fit, try waiting in a doctor’s office… It's 100X more time consuming and expensive than fitness. Try to look at your fitness plan through THIS lens: If you knew you could invest LESS than 3% of your time every week into something that is 100% guaranteed to make you a superior human being… Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually. Financially. Relationally. Would it be worth it? Of course, it would. All progress starts by telling ourselves the truth. And the truth is, we can’t afford NOT to make the time for fitness. It impacts EVERY area. Even bad-ass businessmen with insane work schedules, like Elon & Zuckerberg realize this fact. Keep going strong.

Thankfully exercise has been a constant for me (until recently when I've slacked off from my usual routine - but still did some training). I'm excited to have a new program to challenge my body, expert coaching and a community to keep me motivated!

Morning all!... There is only ONE diet-pill we all should swallow on a DAILY basis… - It’s 100% FREE. - It’s NOT a magic bullet. - It’s NOT a pill, powder, or supplement. - It’s NOT even a fat burner supplement. - It’s something I recommend (and often joke about) to every client I’ve ever coached. It’s called consistency. Forgive yourself immediately, shake it off, and start over again TOMORROW. - NOT this coming Monday. - NOT the first of the month. - NOT when everything is “just right” in your life. Start over again TOMORROW. And NEVER quit starting over again. This is the only way you’re going to make progress that will last with your body and health. Dwelling on your mistakes or inconsistencies is nothing but a WASTE of time and energy. And whenever you beat yourself up or get stuck in a rut, always remember this saying: “Yesterday is in the tomb. Tomorrow is in the womb. All we have is TODAY.” In other words, the journey IS the destination. So do yourself a big favor… Make sure you wake up EVERY day and take this diet pill called “consistency” and FORGET about perfection. It doesn’t exist. YES! And I did just that last evening on day 2. Not because I gave in to some temptation but because I made a conscience choice. A friend from Miami was in town on business and reached out to catch up last evening. I hadn't eaten meal 3 yet but it was after 8. I went and enjoyed 2 glasses of wine, 2 buffalo jumbo shrimp, one slice of seeded bread with a small amount of butter, and a few calamari rings. I was low in carbs for the day so didn't sweat the bread and wine. I def went over on my fat allowance but not immensely since I ate small portions of protein that were fried. Today... back on track without guilt!

Day 1 Success
Good morning all. Day 1 food and exercise in the books and it was successful. I hit 95% of my protein goal and over 100 oz of water. What really surprised me though was my sleep last night. I typically have problems in this area, especially without wine (lol). However, I feel asleep right away and other than a bathroom trip I slept through the night. I feel great this morning! Could be the food intake change but I also took magnesium and glycine an hour before lights out. Here's to day 2.
