Last week's coaching call hit hard!
Hi! I'm Brandi, wife to my love for the past 17 years and counting, mom of an only child, our miracle baby! I'm a home maker and home educator. I homeschool our 15 year old son. I signed up for the first round of H40 but I hit quite a bit of depression due to breaking my leg and having knee surgery. I signed up again for this round, you'd never guess what happened! I fell AGAIN, broke the same leg, in the same spot and will need to have knee surgery again. I was heading back into the deep, dark hole of depression when I listened to last week's coaching call. It hit hard but in a good way. It inspired me to COMMIT to doing the challenge. I can't really walk due to my tibia (shin bone) being broken but I found some chair exercises I can do. I NEED to focus on what I can control, the food I put in my mouth, my water intake, and working on my mindset. I didn't realize that mindset is a huge part of getting and feeling healthy. I know I'm probably behind everyone but I'm excited to get started. Tomorrow is my day one!

Hi I also have a 15 yo son. He and my husband tried for 5 years to have him so he is our miracle child also. I'm sorry you broke your leg but I'm glad it's not keeping you down this time. Depression can be an ugly thing and hard to push yourself out of the pit. Keep working the program you will feel so much better. I know I do.
HUGE SURPRISE
We don’t really recommend a diet. We recommend a dietary approach to life. In this weeks video, we explain why we get fat, and how to turn on or activate the fat switch in all of our bodies We have a huge surprise for you! We just finished the first addition of the “Carb Fasting Cookbook” and will make it available to you early this week! We think you are going to love it!!

I can't wait
Mid night wake up
I struggle with sleeping through the night. I go to sleep about 10 with the intention of getting up at 6:30 but I always wake up between 1 and 2 and can't get back to sleep for at least an hour or 2. I know the main problem is I get on my phone. Maybe tonight I'll try a podcast instead of a game.

So day 3 and I'm feeling great today. The first 2 days I was kinda just doing what I had on my plan but today I actually enjoyed myself. Usually for me day 3 is when I stop doing anything to better myself but I committed to the full 40 days and I will see them out(especially if I keep feeling this good or even better). Keep up the good work everyone I know you can do it too.

Exhausted but ready
I've had a very long weekend already way out of the ordinary with a funeral and all that stuff on Friday and today I went to a friend's celebration of life that passed away in February. Tomorrow after church we have what we call a linger longer which is a meal that everyone tries to bring something for. I was supposed to make sourdough rolls but with everything going on I'm instead making the rhoads dinner rolls and even that at this point feels like too much but they are in pans in the fridge and I'm going to bed early. I'll finish them in the morning when it's cooler outside anyways. I also signed up to help clean up in the kitchen when we are done with the meal but I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep that promise. Then again a good night sleep might be all I need. I'm ready though to start the sprint.

@Tony Allen it is but I'm ready to start this. Just waking up today feeling as wore out as I do tells me I need to do something different for me to feel better and be able to keep up with the unexpected. I'm too young to feel this wore out.
