What’s the BIGGEST challenge you are having with your training right now?
Hey Strong Runners 💪🏃‍♂️ My goal with this post and community is to help you with your half or full marathon training. I could post random content but I think it would be best if I directly answered your questions… So with that being said, what do you need the most help with right now? The heat after being in it all day building pole barns. It's so hot here in Kansas. 109° yesterday at 6pm and 85° this morning at 4am. I did run 3.6 miles Sunday morning but everything felt off. I just couldn't get my stride right. Then my pace was off.

@Lily Kuhn I did a sprint triathlon last summer. The hardest part for me was the swim. I was the last out of the pool. I suggest using your running shoes for the bike ride also. I did not and it cost me time. Also a good tri-suit that you can swim, run and bike in so you don't have to change. Also some ointment stuff so you don't chaf after the swim. Good luck and have fun. It's a fast paced race.

I'm Keith. I am going to run the ½ marathon in the Salina Crossroads Marathon in November. I have been running 5K's on the Saturdays with my buddies. We've done 2 races so far this year. My longest run since cross country in high school was last summer. I ran 7 miles in 1.25 hours. Was a lot of walking, I hurt my knee 2 miles in. My goal is to finish the ½ marathon not win it.
