Day 1 Of Training For The San Antonio Marathon
Hey Strong Runners πŸ’ͺ πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ I officially start training for my next marathon today! It's the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on December 8th. I have decided to give myself a bit more time than usual to make sure my hamstring is good. It was giving me problems on the Houston Marathon earlier this year so I want to make sure I don't injure it. It hasn't been bothering me recently but it's better to be safe than sorry. Anyways, here is my training plan: Monday - Push Day (chest, shoulders & triceps) Tuesday - Medium Run (at goal marathon pace) Wednesday - Leg Day (quads, glutes, hamstrings & calves) Thursday - Short Run (easy pace) Friday - Pull Day (back & biceps) Saturday - Long Run (easy & goal pace) Sunday - Day Off Follow along as I post my workouts and tips to help you with your training.

Hey Strong Runners! πŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Welcome to The Marathon Training Secrets Community! 🚨PLEASE COMPLETE THE TWO STEPS BELOW🚨 STEP 1: Add an introductory post in the Community tab Introduce yourself and share what race you are training for, your wins, or the challenges you are having training for your half or full marathon. I want this to be a community of goal oriented runners who will encourage you, support you, and hold you accountable throughout your training. The only way we can do that is if you interact in the group. There will be special bonuses and prizes for members who help the most amount of people. STEP 2: Watch The Course Content In The Classroom Tab This is where you will get access to The Marathon Training Starter Kit plus additional content to help you with your marathon training. Finally, my goal with this community is to give you all the tools and resources you need to run your half or full marathon so if you have any questions or content ideas feel free to post in the group. Enjoy, Tony Johnson
