April challenge
I’m down 4.4 lbs for the month of April. I’m motivated not to gain this weight back. Living more of a low carb lifestyle is more sustainable for me than trying to be a strict Carnivore. I'm definitely meat based with some veggies and salads here and there. I’m happy that Alice & Kevin allow us all in the group and the challenge. Keeps you accountable. πŸ˜„

Yes! Great work!! Keep going.
Dose change worked!
I logged everything I ate in cronimeter and measured all my daily exercise. I monitored my blood sugar and ketones and saw no change on the scale or tape measure. 😒 So I increased my thyroid medicine and the scale moved down a few lbs. I called the doctor to renew the higher dose prescription. I only had several doses left. So May should show results for all my obedience. This was today's GKI readings.

Thyroid issues will get you ever time. Keep going Julie!
Meal choices
My friends took me to a restaurant "Holy Smokes". Knowing I'm carnivore they have been accomdating me. I have been eating a lb. Of brisket and a lb of pulled pork over the last 3 days. I made some bacon wrapped shrimp 🍀 πŸ₯“ to add some variety. πŸ˜‹

Looks delicious!! Yum
My usual breakfast/lunch
I've been super busy lately at work, but I'm still going strong. I've been too busy to document things, but today I said I was going to take photos of what I've been eating lately. Here is my usual sausage and egg omelet with black pepper bacon. Also, happy to report that I'm 21.3lbs down today since we started.πŸŽ‰πŸ˜

Wow! Great work!!
Weigh in and waist measurement results!
Thanks @Alice Cee, @Kevin L and everyone for the encouragement and accountability to improve my diet (for me that meant cutting out all dairy except a little bit of milk in some scrambled eggs my son cooked for the whole family a couple of times). The other improvement I made was only eating twice a day (no snacking after dinner). I've been suffering a lot of chronic fatigue since the beginning of April, so I was pleasantly surprised with my improved results! Here are my results from this morning here in Australia: My height is 172.5 cms April 23, 2024. (20 days since my last measurements) Weight: 75.75 kg (down 0.9 kg) Waist around belly button: 97.0 cm (down 2.0 cm) Waist around thinnest diameter: 92.0 cm (down 1.5 cm) Hips diameter (widest diameter): 96.0 cm (down 3.5 cm) Body fat at suprailiac (using calipers): 19.0 mm (down 1.0 mm, which equals down 1.4% body fat - to 25% body fat from 26.4% body fat) I'm heading off on a family holiday in 2 days, so I probably won't be posting anything then. I normally eat carnivore, but I now seem to be able to tolerate any food. My aim is to make the best food choices I can whilst travelling, and then do my weight and waist measurements once back May 7.
