@Troy Siewert lol - I did it about 30 years ago too. My son, who recently graduated from college and got his first job wanted to do something "crazy" before starting his work life. I suggested skydiving and the rest is history. SO amazing!! btw, I see you're in Chicago. I grew up in Rogers Park and LOVE when clients bring me to work there so I can get a good hot dog and some deep dish pizza!

I'm a sales coach and trainer (and fractional sales manager). I do one thing, and one thing only: I help individuals and organizations increase their sales. Through a combination of training and coaching I assist anyone who sells (professional salespeople as well as non-traditional sellers (solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, coaches, etc.) to get more appointments with decision-makers, shorten their sales cycle, and close more business, more profitably. And I help people do all that without being pushy, or salesy. I'm in the process of setting up a sales group here on Skool! The Sales Academy. Feel free to join! I'm also a stand-up comedian who loves giving audiences the gift of laughter!

Embrace the Mess ...sometimes!
I used to beat myself up about my messy desk. Not anymore. Last week, I had a breakthrough on a project I'd been stuck on for months. The twist? It happened in my chaotic living room, not my tidy office. Toys scattered on the floor. Books piled high on every surface. In that moment, I realized something profound. The mess wasn't a distraction. It was a catalyst for creativity. Research backs this up. A study from the University of Minnesota found that people in messy rooms came up with more creative ideas. Why? Disorder challenges our conventional thinking. It forces our brains to make new connections. To see possibilities where we didn't before. Now, I'm not saying to never clean again. But maybe, just maybe, a little chaos is exactly what we need sometimes. To break out of our routines. To think differently. To innovate. So the next time you're feeling stuck, try embracing a bit of mess. You might be surprised at the ideas that emerge. What unconventional methods help you think creatively? Share below!
