Post Your Breath Hold (Week 42: Oct 14th - Oct 20th)
Post all your Breath Hold Times here! Let's go & double your breath hold! ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ Step 1: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 2: Post your time here so you can get feedback and points Step 3: Head on over to the Classroom & follow the instructions Already participated last week, or last month? No worries, you can post and do it as much as you want (as a matter of fact, we'd only encourage it ๐Ÿ˜Ž) And if you done the challenge once (or twice), feel free to shake it up a little bit. Do exhale breath holds only for a week, or take it easy and do 1-2 breath holds a day without going for a max. Variety is the spice of life. Get to level 4 in the Leaderboards, and you unlock the Superhuman Lungs training protocol (who doesn't want to have lungs like the Human Dolphin?) Post at least 3 times before the week is over, and you may be the lucky winner of the Breath Hold Mastery course ๐Ÿ˜Ž And last (but not least) a little shout out to last weeks top 10 leaderboard: @Denis Blanchard @Curro Cachinero @Abdou Aziz @Tina Mosner @Mucchan Toshima @Elliot Raboy @Luca Pinelli @David Broberg Wilby @Jonathan Buol @Juliana Patrick

Week 3, Day 1. Zero dive: 1:30 Last week I missed days 6 and 7, but I did climb a mountain in the middle of the night to watch the sunrise so it's ok.

Week 2, Day 4. 2:33. 2 seconds shy of personal best. Probably could've forced it but felt ok with 2:33, we'll get it next time. Looking forward to day 5 and a second chance at underwater breath holding.

Week 2, Day 5. 1:06 underwater, last week was 1:00. Much shorter than my dry holds, I think because of how uncomfortable it is to slouch in the bucket, sitting at a desk, compared to lying down on my bed. First tries I gave up even before feeling my diaphrag, contracting (30-40 seconds). I felt my throat swallowing and pushing against the bucket's edge more than my diaphragm. In my last try I did feel my diaphragm contract a few times and I could go for longer.

Day 5, "Meet your inner dolphin". Sadly I didn't get to meet my inner dolphin yet, managed 1 minute under water only. Previous best was 2:35 on dry land. I didn't have a water reservoir and ice at hand in the morning so instead of doing it right after waking up I did it around midday, still on a (very) empty stomach. I couldn't concentrate as much as I did the previous days while holding my breath under water. Had some distractions as well (people talking and passing by). Tried three times getting 1:00, 0:55 and 0:52 (worse each time). Not very happy but I understand it's normal, I will try again in the evening.
