24 hour cycle
So last weekend I had a ton of things to do. This included driving my wife and daughter to the airport early Saturday morning. Friday night at around midnight I hear a crash sound and my daughter bolts into our bedroom pretty scared. Thinking someone broke one of our windows, or was trying to break in, I go check it out. Turns out it was nothing major thankfully. The adhesive picture hangers my wife used to hang a small shelf gave way and it came crashing down. After the adrenaline dump from it I was up for a couple hours, then got up and took them to the airport a couple hours later. On the way back home I was tired and thinking of going back to bed. But, remembering that I can be productive and “make up” the sleep later that night within the 24 hour cycle I pushed on and got my work done. Framing it like that really helped me. Still modifying the cycle and my TRIM framework, but it is getting better and more refined. The “old me” would have probably gone back to sleep and not been as productive as I was. The 24 hour cycle framework continues to be a game changer for me.

Distractions
I am guilty of getting distracted by the information overload nowadays. I have been working on limiting my time on my phone, social media, podcasts, etc. However , I do feel I have to stay up to date on current events, and remain informed. Also you can come across some great people, and learning resources from these examples. Do any of you have any tips, or examples of how you stay informed, and find good info without committing too much time and attention that can get out of hand? Seems like I feel I am in a “catch 22” situation where I need to stay informed, but to cut all those examples out completely would also be detrimental.

@Sean Mace very true. To ignore it all, which some we know in the “aquarium” do, can be worse than paying too much attention. But personally, I want enough info to keep my awareness current, and that can be challenging as you and MC said with the current media situation.

Just watched this finally. Simple formula compared to the books I have read on this subject by “gurus”. Thanks MC!
Hormozi gets it. Do you?
Alex Hormozi, who I'm a fan of, is a well-respected authority on folks making their dream businesses come to life. Yesterday, he announced his investment in Skool (pic attached), this online platform dedicated to building communities for coaches, creators, and any entrepreneur who wants to build loyalty and give more value to their clients in a community. Skool is what Facebook groups tried to be but failed over and over again. I've been running my Skool groups for over a year! 🤷🏻‍♂️ As a matter of fact, I started my Three Roads Mastermind BECAUSE of what I recognized Skool to be. I understood then what so many are just starting to understand now: The future of business is in physical products (things you need to go to the store or Amazon to purchase), physical services (that hot water heater ain't gonna fix itself), and ALLIANCES (Whether they be one-on-one or in communities). The days of courses are done. 🙅🏻‍♂️ Even Amazon is starting to show commercials in its content at the end of the month because of a drop-off in subscription revenue! Skool, on the other hand, understands alliance, tribe, and built a platform to follow those universal rules. Where does that leave you? 🤔 If you're a coach, creator, or entrepreneur who understands the value of building an engaging community amongst your clients and followers... I can show you how to make $5-10k/mo leveraging Skool's community superpowers. If this is you, let's get on a quick 5-10 minute call to see if my team and I can help you. Go HERE to book a call, or DM me with the word "SKOOL" and we'll make it happen. ⚡⚡⚡ Stay on Mission, MC

MC-do you mean the recent trend of online courses will eventually regress back to more in person instruction? For example if one offers a service as opposed to a physical product.
