Low Show Rate From Coldcalls
Hey guys, so since around Mid September, I switched from primarily IG DMs to coldcalls, in terms of my outreach system. When I used to DM, my show rate was a solid 60%. when I manually booked them, I would send them a thank you VSL and reminders for 24h, 1h, 10m before on email and phone, as well as a follow on Instagram. Since switching to coldcalls, I have booked over 20 meetings. And only around 5 have actually showed (25%) The actions I’ve taken so far to improve this is sending a personalised written email with testimonials and freebie incentive, after booking instead of just thank you VSL . And I’ve made sure to be consistent with calling them an hour before every booking (sometimes I forget this) I have another 5 meetings upcoming next week and I believe it’s that which is the problem. I have no choice but to book people far out (5-7 days away, sometimes 10) because I work a full time job, and my availability with the prospect always clashes. Even though this is technically out of control, it still really annoys me. Any suggestions guys @Uncle Jimmy Mitchell

Energy is also key here, make them remember you. Not just running through the pitch, trying to fit it small talk here and there. Laugh on the phone. Disarm them with energy.
Got a cold calling job to battle my fear
Was struggling bad with cold call anxiety. Was the biggest obstacle for me by far starting out, so instead of working in a -20 degree freezer warehouse, I got a job as an inside sales rep at an awesome remodeling company. Learning a ton about the remodeling industry along the way, and make 400+ dials a day. Get off at 2 and have the rest of the day for business. Gotta do what you gotta do 💪🏼

@Santos Osazenaye Ogbomoede Yeah bro that character growth is what I'm after 100%! I'm an in-office sales rep, really just an appointment setter for estimates, but the company I work for purchases leads from somewhere, not exactly sure where, but they purchase leads that inquired specifically about windows, doors, siding or roofing (because that's what this company focuses on) but they pretty much max out on how many leads they can buy and at the highest quality. The leads are homeowners within the service area who've filled out surveys about needing one of those 4 things, 9 times out of 10 it's windows. There's a team of like 18 inside sales reps that call these leads to set estimate appointments
Targeting southern states FB ads
I thought it would be best if I target the southern states due to off season (targeting remodelers & residential contractors btw). Should I try it or just continue targeting the whole states & let the algorithm do its thing? With the decreased target demographic, I thought I might risk higher CPL etc.

This time is also a sweet spot for remodeling especially for windows & doors. When its starting to get colder, people realizing their windows or doors are old and in need of replacement and more likely to respond to remodeling advertising or outbound marketing
Door Knocking
Id love some advice on this choice I'm faced with Currently I work in a freezer at a warehouse. Its dreadful at times but it's not too terrible. & I get off at 2PM & have the rest of the day to myself for business. I have mad resistance towards cold calling and sales in general, and I've been really trying to get over that, so I'm looking at sales jobs to help get over that fear. I have a new sales job opportunity for a home remodeling company that only does door knocking sales, but it's long ass hours and more time taken away from the day. I'm not sure if I should stay where I am, suck it up and get good at cold calling or take this job, door knock for a while and gain the resilience that way. Idk why I feel such resistance towards this in the first place, not too sure what to do. Any advice would be awesome. Thanks guys

@Mario Pascuzzo Hell yeah. Thanks Mario, I have been listening to this more often, definitely helps a lot. The particular part that helped me was contemplating "the pain is the way". The dragon is the only way to get what I want so why not love the dragon? Business is so badass dude. 😂 Thanks man
