Post Your Breath Hold (Week 40: Sep 30th - Oct 6th)
Post all your Breath Hold Times here! Let's go & double your breath hold! 🧑‍🏫 Step 1: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 2: Post your time here so you can get feedback and points Step 3: Head on over to the Classroom & follow the instructions Already participated last week, or last month? No worries, you can post and do it as much as you want (as a matter of fact, we'd only encourage it 😎) And if you done the challenge once (or twice), feel free to shake it up a little bit. Do exhale breath holds only for a week, or take it easy and do 1-2 breath holds a day without going for a max. Variety is the spice of life. Get to level 4 in the Leaderboards, and you unlock the Superhuman Lungs training protocol (who doesn't want to have lungs like the Human Dolphin?) Post all seven days, and you may be the lucky winner of the Breath Hold Mastery course 😎 And last (but not least) a little shout out to last weeks top 10 leaderboard: @Denis Blanchard @Curro Cachinero @Edward Brittain @Paul den Oude @Kristopher Pensenti @Mir Jam @David Broberg Wilby @Tina Mosner @Luca Pinelli @Elliot Raboy

Day 4 1:56 min The build up made it easier. At least it felt that way. Was a bit hard to estimate when I held it right according to what we aimed for in time.

So have not had possibility to uppdatera for some dats. But I have done the exercises and written them down with my comments so here is an update. Day 2 1:20 worked fine no problems Day 3 0:40, 0:45, 0:50 I’m not really impressed by my performance but it felt hard and resistive. Day 4 doing the three dives and ended with 1:31 nothing that really makes my feel exuberant excited. But I have been trying to analyse my performance and as last week was the last vacation week and now everything is business as usual, it has also included some less sleep and some more stress. And I believe that even if I don’t really reflect over this normally it has affected my performance. I have not managed to relax as deep and totally which affects my breath holds. Day 5 is done with a little better time but I haven’t my notes at hand right now so will be back with this and day 6 tomorrow.

So then I’m back with the last three days for this week. Day 5 1:47 I didn’t have the possibility to dunk my face in water but I put a wet cold towel over my face and it felt like it did make it a little easier. I have done it in the sea earlier and felt that if I stuck the head in without a mask made difference in a positive way. Compared to with a mask it felt easier and got longer times. Day 6 Inhale 1:43 Exhale 0:57 I have tried this earlier also with various results. If I inhale a full breath it feels usually nice and relaxed. Sometimes if I make it a little too deep I feels tense and not as relaxed. But in the same time I think it feels easier to “lock” the throat and nose so not to breath during my hold. Breath holds on the exhale I have done a few times and the feels quite nice but I haven’t managed to reach the same times as on inhale. They feel a bit more forced. But as with inhales practice makes difference. Day 7 Pushed myself quite hard. Managed to break two minutes, but it was rather uncomfortable at the end. Time 2:03
Breath Hold Times - July (Post ALL Times here)
The first monthly Breath Hold Time thread - with many more to come. Post your daily breath hold times & share your experiences here. Encourage & congratulate others - we will all be dolphins by the end of the month! We'll pick a monthly winner at random who will win a lucky prize (woo-hoo!). It's not based on how high you score (because... it's YOUR personal journey - so it does not matter if you hold only for a minute and someone else for 3 minutes).

Think I will try this again tonight just before going to bed, just to see how I responds if there is any big difference in the experience. The times I don’t know if I will care so much about. I think I’m more interested in how I precise it.

Day 4 Maybe not the best start as I had to get up and drive the wife so she wouldn’t miss her bus. But still some good results. Dive 1 - 1:09 2 - 1:13 3 - 1:43 4 - 2:20 Day 1 - 0:53 Day 2 - 1:11 Day 3 - 1:49 Day 4 - 2:20
Will You Help Us Break 1.000 Members Tonight?
What is a revolution without friends? For those who joined us on the first day of the month (or even sooner), you have all felt the change. Fighting the strongest reflex in life - life itself - unlocks a hidden superpower within you. It would totally unfair to keep this from people, especially those who need it the most. So, I ask for your help in sharing the message to as many people as possible. Make it a friendly competition. Who is the dolphin among your friends? 🐬 (P.S. Since you are already in this group, you got a head start) How do you share? Just send or post the link to our group: → https://www.skool.com/breath-hold-challenge/about It's easy as pie! And it would be much appreciated 🙏

How Long Can YOU Hold Your Breath? (Leaderboards Explained)
Hi there, Polar Bears. How's it chillin'? One of the nifty features of Skool is the leaderboard. You can find it in the top navigation bar of the 7-Day Breath Hold Challenge page (see image). For the biologists and animal lovers among us, you'll understand the animals linked to each level. That's right - the order is based on how long each animal can hold their breath under water. Now, how do you go from a polar bear to a sea turtle? The answer is: sharing & posting quality stuff! Every single time someone likes your post, you get a point. Each level requires a certain amount of points to level up. (click the question mark under your profile picture to see the exact amount) New levels also mean new features! For instance, when you become a Sea Otter, you can message each other (this is mostly to keep those spammy Polar Bears from sending unsolicited ads) If you level up to a Dugong, you can migrate to the Discovery Masterclass, and of course, when you reach the Dolphin level, you can learn how to train Superhuman Lungs. We are still playing around with the rewards for the other levels, as well as winning the weekly/monthly leaderboards. Rewards may be subject to change. The goal of this community that we help each other. So be kind, and give your fellow polar bear a like when you can. We'll be a bale of sea turtles soon enough. So, are you ready to level up? ACTION: Post your current level (and feel free to come back every time you reach a new level).

Entering as an endangered polar bear but hoping to evolve soon to a less endangered specimen.
