Complete Performance Max Campaigns
Hey guys, in the Youtube video Complete Performance Max Campaigns it's mentioned to split out best sellers into there own campaign, if you have a store of 2000 products what is a good way to do this? As products can also change from best sellers, to mid-tier, and zombies. How do you continously monitor this and ensure the products you have allocation to each campaign correct?

@Chris C Stores with large inventories are my favourite, and have successfully worked with many online stores to build their account. A combination of performance script and campaign structure will set you up for success.
Google Shopping vs Meta Ads
We're at a crossroads and would love to get some input. I've been running a Google Shopping campaign for a fashion brand's Shopify store for 11 weeks at $40/day. (My first Google Shopping campaign) It started well, but the results have been dismal for the last 6 weeks. I was expecting improvement as the campaign collects data, but it's been the opposite. I tried adding more products to the ad group, but it didn't help, so I went back to the original products. My options: 1) Stick with it and change the conversions to include add to carts in order to gather more data and hope to eventually see some improvement. (I'm not inclined to throw more budget at it with ever diminishing returns.) 2) Start a PMax shopping campaign, even though I don't have close to 30 conversions in 30 days. 3) Drop it down to $10/day and let it gather some data, and switch back to Meta ads, which is what we were running previously. I compared the last 11 weeks with the Google shopping ads to the last 11 weeks we were running Meta ads with the same budget. (Not entirely fair, because we'd been running those Meta ads for a while and have more data.) Meta got us almost 3x as many add to carts and 30% better conversion rate. (Organic social numbers also improve when we're advertising on Meta.) I don't want to pull the plug on the shopping ads too early, but when we've had no results 38 of the last 42 days, I need to do something. My instinct is option #3 and come back to Google Shopping ads when we can afford a larger budget. (By the way, we've been checking out our competition and working on our own business, too.) Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

@Dave Christie Unfortunately there is no exact answer and you may have to look at some testing. If you're running similar brands to others, you can have a look to see if the competition has increased and how your pricing compares. Whenever it is price, I run a Shopping campaign with a script to help with that. Another option is to look at your current Shopping campaign and compliment it with Meta for remarketing. If you're not going to run Meta, Performance Max could also be a good option with segmented Asset Groups, high quality images &videos, and specific signals (competitors, converting keywords, etc.). If Performance Max is not an option, add a Dynamic Product Remarketing campaign to your existing Shopping campaign.

@Dave Christie Personally, I would look at using it as a remarketing audience rather than a primary conversion. Love that you're working on other aspects outside of Google Ads, as these areas can have a key impact on your efforts. If you've already had some customers come through, maybe reach out with a survey on specific areas of the website you want to address. I recently read a report on a LinkedIn post around this and was quite the eye opener. Will see if I can find it.

Also strongly add that they have conversion tracking in place that will help them grow their business. This is a pretty amazing community, and Austin shares some great insights, even for those starting out.
PMAX Product Report Not Matching Cost
I've got some major issues in a couple of campaigns where ROAS has just tanked (these are long running campaigns that have historically been doing well). I was trying to evaluate the products in the campaign (we have a large catalog of about 10K products so have products broken up into campaigns by product type). I looked at results from Sept 1 - today and it shows our cost is around $4K. I went to the products tab and selected the same date range to evaluate if I had items that were getting a lot of clicks and no revenue. When I exported that report it showed my total cost at like $500. How is this so far off? Am I not looking at something correctly?

@Mandi Snyder I would suggest grabbing the Mike Rhodes Performance Max script. It will give you far better insights into what you're looking for. Shout out if you need a hand with it.
Ad Strength
Running Search campaign for local business. I have headlines pinned at positions in my ads that I now the headlines are going to have success. Just based upon expertise, industry knowledge and keyword research. I don't want my #1 headline position to be moved by RSA. BUT Google ranks my ad strength poor, and I'm asking if this affects my quality score, hence affecting impression share and CPC ?

@Tyler Scola The level of "ad strength" doesn't mean your ads will be limited as it does not impact your ad rank or quality score. If you know what works, stick with it.
