Hey ya'll! Currently on Week 4/Phase 4 in the course! I’ve been fine-tuning my skills in Setting, and am currently open to mock calls to get more practice in! Here are some of my notes: ⭐ Cold Calling: Reaching out to a potential client who doesn't know you, aiming to inform & qualify, and schedule a meeting while gathering information in 3 to 5 minutes. We're focused on discovering their goals, current situation, and why they haven't been able to achieve their own goals. ⭐ Workflow for Cold Calling - Double dial if they don't pick up the first time - Quick VM & text if they don't pick up - Connected to a gatekeeper? Do not overshare about the reason as to why you are calling & do not sell to them. Ask to connect with the owner. - After setting, stay on the phone with them to confirm the booking. Provide any resources or homework to complete before the next call (if any). Set the expectation for the following call. For instance: [Awesome, lastly just to confirm John, is 5:00pm EST, Wednesday the 5th, a time that you can 100% make, distraction free and in a relaxed environment? I just want to make sure that you will get the MOST value out of the call. Is there any reason why you wouldn't be able to make the call?] Looking forward to some more practice!
