Premium Offer Naming
- I like to think of my business as a school. It’s called Boutique Training Academy. Currently I’m re-packaging my offers to scale to only two main offers: (for reference I AM using boutique in the way to describe a women’s, children’s or gift store- brick and mortar or e-commerce or pop up… if you sell inventory I can help you!) - $999 level 1 legacy course - Boutique Business 101: We teach new boutique owners everything they need to start and grow. - Currently I call this Boutique Basics Bootcamp. We think it fits well, sells well and works with this name. Used it for 6 years now so I definetly own it. Do you agree we keep it? - $2997 level 2 legacy course - Boutique Business 201: We teach you how to create a profitable inventory analysis and in depth future buying budgets. - This consolidates 2 cohesive courses- Profit Power Tools and Skys the Limit Boutique Business Accelerator- into one. - Do I call this new offer: Boutique Profit Tools, Boutique Profit Accelerator, Masters in Boutique Business… do you feel any of these work? I do think I need Boutique in the name to make it really stand out. There is NOTHING else like this available. Thank you!!!

@Kori Tomelden right now I want to plan without a mastermind involved! I like Boutique Business Mastery though! That is a nice was of saying it’s like a masters degree but not.

@Ron Medlin she has a funnel template upgrade— Mariah’s funnel emails/flows are great!
Workshop Attendance
I want to be as helpful in realtime as I can be. I've done online workshops and webinars since 2015. I've had a few dozen to a few thousand in signups over the years. But I flopped the hardest I've ever flopped. 1 signup in the first 24-hours. I'm not sure I really knew what imposter syndrome was until I titled a workshop Sales Flow and then couldn't sell it! I pivoted. Scrapped weeks of work for myself and my team. And wrote an 8-page update of the new direction - not just for this workshop, but the entire company. The email I had written to announce this change went out on accident. There was a miscommunication internally and what I was incredibly unready to share became public information. It's been just a few hours since that email - and I've had 174 signups for this live workshop. What would be the most helpful to share for y'all? What do you want to know?

@Abagail Pumphrey I’ve been listening to everything happening in the company and I going to jump in and remind you to grieve. You’re going thru a massive transition losing Emylee!!! As much as you’re not starting over, you are! You should listen to your recent episode about how starting over isn’t really starting over :). I had a baby and massive postpartum challenges and that transition have me entirely redesigning my business and model with so much honesty for myself and through my podcast about what I’m going through. Everyone loves it. We all go through biz shifts and yours is very public and big! Give yourself so much grace right now!!!
Afraid to start an email list...
It feels absolutely ridiculous to write that title... "I'm afraid to start my email list". Why am I afraid? Because once I start the list, I know there's no going back. I will have to regularly create more emails and send them out. Honestly, I can't bear the idea of creating a list where people are just sitting there and I'm not communicating with them. That seems like a good thing, but not when your next thought is... Because there's no way I have that much to say. My entire career and training has been about staying neutral, listening to all sides, coming up with solutions that benefit an entire community. I don't take stands, in fact, I have learned too many times that the answer can be both yes and no, black and white, left and right. I have seen that too often you alienate people when you take a closed view of a matter. So this leaves me with... Because I don't have anything to say that people will want to hear or read. And this my fellow creators is what stops me in my tracks. This is why I am too afraid to start my email list. Please help... Do you have any genuine advice to share that can help me find my voice... so I can make more of an impact without going against what I believe - that there's no one way or point of view that is 100% right?

Maybe because it feels overwhelming to be consistent creating new content?? Here’s my hack I just came up with (maybe it’ll help): 1. Voice record into Loom the story I want to tell. 2. Loom auto transcribes! I take the transcription and plug it into Chat GpT and say “make this a compelling email for my ideal customer” 3. It gives me a nice format and then I edit to make sound more like me. 4. Put in an email and send!

@Kellye Mazzoli yay! I love hacking systems to work for me!
Monthly vs Bi-Weekly Pay Plans for Courses
I’m really drawn to the idea of bi-weekly payments lately and if they help sign ups? It oddly feels like something I’d be interested in for myself to ease bigger payments through my cash flow. I’ve been doing monthly forever but my thought is that because the bi-weekly price looks and is lower, is it less of a barrier to entry? Does the price look lower and this more accessible to someone on the fence? Has anyone heard results or experienced offering this to clients? My follow up is then, do I offer all 3 pricing options or just two? Pay In Full, Monthly and Bi Weekly vs. PIF an Bi Weekly.

@D'Ana Joi I agree I had a $33/mo membership and I hated it. No one showed up for things!

@Leigh Norén right! That was part of the pros I thought- like it a smaller amount from the salary payment each time.
