No more hiding.
Ok so major one for me. On Sunday I sat in the car with my wife in a garden centre car park. The words leave her mouth 'im' worried about you'. Instant feeling that I'm letting her down. I'm supposed to be the strong provider and protector right? Truth of the matter is, and this is hard for me to say, I have been struggling with my mental health for the past 3 months. My self confidence is at an all time low. My negative self talk has taken over and I'm in a hole. So why am I posting this? Well number 1, because the more I say it, the more it makes it real and I can't hide from it. And number 2, because tomorrow is my first appointment of therapy. I'm shitting it. I've done therapy before, but I need to be honest. I want to be happy inside and feel confident in the person I am. At 38 years old I need to find who I am and accept myself and stop hating myself. Time to stop avoiding and time to face facts.

Limiting beliefs
If you were to write down the top 10 things you want to experience in life before you die, what would they be? This was an exercise I ran with my Top 1% guys in Spain last week, and I had to call them out on their self-limiting beliefs. The problem was, they were limiting what they thought they could achieve in life. They had put a ceiling on their potential and created stories they told themselves about why they couldn’t achieve certain experiences. This is something we all do on a daily basis. We limit what we can achieve because we don’t see ourselves as capable of overcoming the obstacles that stand in our way. Or we tell ourselves we’re not good enough. What you’ve done is create a narrative in your head, and that narrative determines your success & belief. So, here’s my challenge to you this morning: Write down the top five things you want to experience in your life and add them in the comments below. ⬇️ Don’t think about why you can’t achieve them. Don’t base your decisions on who you are now—base them on the man you’re going to become. Then ask yourself, why haven’t you started the process of achieving any of those experiences? It might reveal the reason you’re holding yourself back from your full potential every single day. On top of that list of 5 five, I want you to choose the one that stands out the most in terms of excitement Then write down at five step plan of how you’re going to start achieving that exciting experience Then add deadlines to each of the steps that you’ve created What are you waiting for? JB
