Hi members. I am battling a spinal tumor that keeps regrowing after surgeries or radiation. I am interested to lean about the keto diet with the hope of stopping or slowing down further regrowth. To complicate matter I have been diagnosed with Fructose Mal absorption.Otherwise I am in good health.

@Rob Henderson Welcome! I wish you the best on your journey!
Poll Regarding US health insurance:
I am a little bit curious: We Germans have the impression that only very few US Americans have health insurance, and one of my friends sais, because of that, they can simply choose metabolic therapy or classoc standarc of care: The costs are more or less the same. But I doubt that I think that plenty of US guys have a health insurance. So my question simply is: Hoe many of you guys do have a health insurance? And does/ would it cover your SOC expenses?

My employer plan has a $7150 out of pocket maximum. That means once I meet the $7150 out of pocket cost, then everything including meds and copays is covered at 100%. I also have a premium of $100 that my employer deducts from my paycheck every two weeks. So total that I pay out of pocket per year is $9750. My insurance covers both SOC and integrative/functional/naturopathic care. It also covers chiropractic care, massage therapy, physical therapy, and acupuncture. The insurance company also has a nurse case manager program that provides a patient advocate and opens up opportunities to possibly get some cancer treatments covered that might not be covered otherwise. They automatically enroll you in the nurse case manager program when you are diagnosed with cancer. Lastly, since I am a military veteran, I also have access to medical care through the VA (Veteran's Administration) if I choose to use it.
Metabolic therapy with diagnose: small-cellic, neuroindocrine carzinoma (stomach with metastasis)
Hi guys I am new here. And I wanted to know if you know someone who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma and tried metabolic therapy? I wanted to know your experiences with that. Unfortunately my fater got diagnosed with it. He already made one chemotherapy and is currently doing his second one in combination with methadon. He is under palliative medicine. What kind of diet should he do during the chemotherapy? Kind regards and thank you all Emre

@Emre Goecen Welcome! I believe @Gido Van Tienhoven has been diagnosed with NEC as well. Maybe the two of you can connect. Wishing all the best for you and your dad!
Roughtcut of the Egypt GBM paper....
.... is done :-) But I will probably add some additional graphs and tables (also regarding fasting, bmi, calories all in relation to bodyweight) to make the timeframe more clear, so this can take some time still:

My oncologist wanted me to do the conventional treatments since this was my second cancer. I know he was disappointed when I declined the conventional treatments for metabolic therapy, but he still told me that he supported me in my choice, and that he was still going to be there for me and take care of me. We have had some encouraging discussions, and I'm going to continue working on this. I also have an awesome naturopath as my primary doctor. She agrees with me doing the metabolic therapy and immediately jumped into brainstorming with me re HBOT, etc.

On my second round of early stage breast cancer, this time involving lymph nodes, and looking for ways to heal and prevent another recurrence.
