So Vincent is going to interview Dr. Dominic D'Agostino, he just sent an email out to his members if they have questions! How about you guys pose some questions as well, I will pack them up and send, say 5-7 to Vincent, maybe he will indeed ask them! So what do you want to know from Dr. Dom? :-)

@Melissa Goodin In this overview paper here, that short term hbot treatment worsens mitochondrial health, but longer term improves it: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8699286/ by longer term, they mean up to 30 sessions each day! "Interestingly, while 1 to 5 consecutive treatments mainly lead to a reduction in mitochondrial function, 20 to 60 consecutive treatments lead to a significant improvement in mitochondrial parameters [47,48,49,50]. Animal studies have shown that following one to five treatments, HBOT induces loss of ∆ψ (indicating reduced ETC integrity) and initiation of the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway. These adverse effects do not appear when HBOT is repeated for more than 20 days, and studies that performed treatments for 20 to 30 days showed beneficial effects on mitochondrial activity and metabolism" So as this is not really feasable to do and short term doesnt seem to improve it, rather worsens it, I would say save your money and instead buy the best beef and fish you can, to get the lowest omega 6 load in your food, thus leading to superhealthy mitochondria in the long run :-) Regarding fasting, I have the fasting ebook in the classroom. I did fasting for 4 months and there are lots of tips on how to do it https://www.skool.com/ketoforcancer/classroom/f2409da5?md=9cbb7a261e86420686dad41fcb62eae4

@Melissa Goodin The increased autophagy disassembles the sickest cells first, to get to its protein. Nobody really talks about it that way, but autophagy is a protein deficiancy situation first, then a caloric deficiancy situation second. Meaning that all the proteins that are useles and also cells will get destroyed and recycled. The longer the fast, the harder it gets. And you cant do more than a 100% caloric deficit. Being in ketosis during the eating phase will get you into autophagy faster, as your body can still use up all the glucose regarding pure energy. Keep us posted about your omega 3-6 test! But be aware, that probably they take the numbers of the average american like with all testing and then tell you you are fine - well, americans arent fine with omega 6s since like 1950 or sth. :-p If you dont have cancer, you can have carbs like rice and fruit, say 100-150gs a day. Glucose is not inherently bad nor is insulin. eastern asian countries like japan always ate high carb with very low cancer rates, but they had low fat and lots of seafood. Hong Kong eats high carn, highest life exectancy worldwirde, they eat 600 gs of meat a day:-p but also lots of seafood and no soybeans in their pork, i guess haha! Yes, focus first on muscle mass, they are the biggest glucose sink, meaning when you eat, your blood glucose speaks will be tiny. supplements okay, its your choice, yes vitamin d is very good and also vitamin k, so get some cod liver oin and hard cheeses in and youll be fine
Poll Regarding US health insurance:
I am a little bit curious: We Germans have the impression that only very few US Americans have health insurance, and one of my friends sais, because of that, they can simply choose metabolic therapy or classoc standarc of care: The costs are more or less the same. But I doubt that I think that plenty of US guys have a health insurance. So my question simply is: Hoe many of you guys do have a health insurance? And does/ would it cover your SOC expenses?

New DON Pricing by Den Stacey!
So it seems that a little bit of "price publication pressure", by our group or other groups/ individuals, has worked like a charm: A member of ours forwarded me a recent email by Den Stacey: He has now (as of beginning of September 2024) lowered the price of DON per mg to 6 dollars instead of 15-17. This is quite a "deal" I think, if you are apprehensive about all the other ways you would have to get it, like founding a company etc. So yes, you can buy it now from his connections and company for a fairly resonable price! I don't know about delivery time yet or if they measure your daily doses out for you, but in general this is great news if you ask me!

Power-Poll: How much Supplements do you take?
As it seems that some people throw in more pills than a pro bodybuilder :-p , let's get this straight: How many different things do you take? But 1) We exclude a fishoil / fishoil capsule product 2) Multivitamins 3) Vitamin C So we start the Party with 4 - but: Please do not include any prescription drugs, we are only talking things that you can buy over the counter!

@Huda Komok So what's your list? :-p

@Huda Komok as long as the supplements dont influence your gki numbers negatively, you could take them. but there should be a very good reason for each and every one of them, for example studies on cells on their own arent helpful at all in my opinion. but studies that show that the compound works better with people that already do soc should be fine. like the ones showing that higher ketones work better with soc, those are good studies to take into account
