Put your podcast on YouTube and do it the RIGHT way.
I just had Owen Hemsath, known as Owen Video and a pioneer since 2006, on Oh My Pod. Owen is an expert in YouTube, content creation, copywriting, and business growth. He shared his insights on how podcasters can thrive on YouTube and some eye-opening strategies for channel growth. My 3 Biggest Takeaways Were... 1. Titles, thumbnails, and hooks are the low-hanging fruit that can significantly improve a YouTube channel’s performance. 2. Creating engaging short form content is key to channel growth but repurposing longer content into shorts is often not as effective—crafting shorts in front of the camera is the way to go. 3. For capturing viewer attention, the first 30 seconds of any video are crucial, and structuring your content with strong initial points and a powerful finale can keep viewers glued. P.S. You can hear the full conversation and gain more insights at this link: https://oh-my-pod-podcast-strategy.cohostpodcasting.com/ #YouTube #ContentCreation #Podcasting #VideoMarketing

Looks like a good one to check out. Thanks!
Should I wait until September to launch my new podcast?
Given how busy everyone seems to be in the summer, is it best to wait to launch until September? Pros and cons? I could also be finishing up my online course so that will be available when I launch. And, batch recording as many podcasts as I can. I think I'm convincing myself to wait. Thoughts?

@Justin Moore Wow, 50? That's a lot! I think I've just had to be realistic about my time. With spending about 30 hours per week running the farm, AND trying to get my people to record, then edit, etc. as well as creating a course, it's just not possible to get it all done. I want to have at least 8 shows ready to go, so I guess I had to take some of the pressure off

@Justin Moore I'd love to have a budget for this, but that's not my reality right now. That said, I'm pretty picky as far as editing. Not sure how I'd communicate what I want to someone else. Seems easier to do it myself using Descript. The marketing/promotion part I'd hire out when funds allow.

Tip for newbies like me!!
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a few big realizations I had this week. I recorded one solo podcast and three guest podcasts in the last week and a half. I waited to do the notes and send everything over to Celine until I had done them all. Big mistake!! I ended up spending a lot more time doing it because I had forgotten the details we spoke about. I had to go back in and look for clips (as Justin showed us) and notes. Next time I will be doing all of that right after I do the interview and taking notes during the interview so I don't lose so many hours! My suspicion is that I added an extra 4-5 hours of work for myself. I wanted to share this so anyone else doing their podcast doesn't make the same mistake. ❤️

[Read First] Welcome To The CoachCast Academy 🎙️
To kick things off please comment below introducing yourself. Let us know… #1 Who you are, where you're from and who you work with? #2 What do you hope to get from this community? #3 For fun, what do you like to do? #4 Drop a photo of your office space or where you like to work from. I’ll go first: #1 My name is Celine Albertini and I am a Kinesiologyst and a former teacher turned online entrepreneur, podcast coach and COO of our company Podigy. I was born and raised in Italy and now Justin and I live between Kelowna, BC and South Tyrol, Italy. All thanks to our amazing business and Podcast. #2 I want this academy / community to be the one stop shop for indie podcasters. I remember a few years ago when I was trying to research podcasting on my own… It is hard. There are pieces of information everywhere, but the thing is I lost a crazy amount of time finding them. So we decided to give back to the podcast community and make all of our resources available in one place! #3 For fun I like to travel, work out, hike and hang out with my friends. I am also a very big health enthusiast and I love researching all sorts of health related things. #4

@Celine Albertini Thanks so much, Celine! It is quite spectacular to live on a farm, especially with the contrast of having lived in a big city, as well as suburbs.
