[Read First] Welcome To The CoachCast Academy 🎙️
To kick things off please comment below introducing yourself. Let us know… #1 Who you are, where you're from and who you work with? #2 What do you hope to get from this community? #3 For fun, what do you like to do? #4 Drop a photo of your office space or where you like to work from. I’ll go first: #1 My name is Celine Albertini and I am a Kinesiologyst and a former teacher turned online entrepreneur, podcast coach and COO of our company Podigy. I was born and raised in Italy and now Justin and I live between Kelowna, BC and South Tyrol, Italy. All thanks to our amazing business and Podcast. #2 I want this academy / community to be the one stop shop for indie podcasters. I remember a few years ago when I was trying to research podcasting on my own… It is hard. There are pieces of information everywhere, but the thing is I lost a crazy amount of time finding them. So we decided to give back to the podcast community and make all of our resources available in one place! #3 For fun I like to travel, work out, hike and hang out with my friends. I am also a very big health enthusiast and I love researching all sorts of health related things. #4

Should I wait until September to launch my new podcast?
Given how busy everyone seems to be in the summer, is it best to wait to launch until September? Pros and cons? I could also be finishing up my online course so that will be available when I launch. And, batch recording as many podcasts as I can. I think I'm convincing myself to wait. Thoughts?

Email Newsletter seems to be helping
I just sent out my third "monthly" newsletter (though they have been at least 6 weeks apart) I feel like I now have a good format and will get it out more consistently. In the first section I said that I was looking for podcast guests. I have been interviewing experts, coaches and trainers on various subject, but now am looking for people "in the trenches" which are for me managers in STEM fields...mostly engineers who have become managers. They are the target audience for my podcast, and also great prospects for services I offer. Getting them on the show would be a great way to plant the seed for them to hire me. I already got a few responses of people who are interested or have a good candidate for me. Not yet sure if they are the ideal candidates, but excited about how quickly I got responses! In case you are interested, the second section is a highlight of a recent episode I liked, along with a link to it, the third is an update of my speaking/coaching business and the fourth is a personal update. In this case personal was talking about a family reunion we just had. A little bit of everything!

Youtube content and Podcast intros
I watched a webinar on optimizing content to gain Youtube subscribers. Youtube will start stop recommending you if people stop watching in the first 20 seconds. So in that time you have to let people know why they should keep watching. In orther words, in order to optimize my content for youtube...I need to make all of the intro changes that Justin recently told us to do! The change which is beneficial for my podcast, will automatically translate to benefit on youtube as well. What great timing on these two lessons!
