You crazy kids. I'm going to try and survive Birmingham first. Then re-evaluate my life choices before committing to another one.

@Rob Fell yeh they're not exactly pleasant. I was going to list which ones feel the most damaging but they all are pretty brutal. So far I think sled pull is probably the only one that feels manageable.

@Matt T thanks. But believe me, it wasn't by choice!
My intro
Hi all. Finally getting round to putting this up but I'll try and keep it short and sweet. I'm Alex. Love training. Played alot of basketball and rugby over the years. Done quite a lot of running and a bit of indoor rowing for a while there. Ex-Army, but now deep in the throws of corporate life. Motivation to train has never been a problem for me. But now, living at home full time with 3 young kids and a wife who is self employed, getting time to be consistent is my biggest challenge. Even when I'm getting my workouts in, I'm always against a clock and just can't quite train as hard/long/properly as I would like. Have little to no 'me-time' to speak of. Nutrition is also a huge area of weakness for me. One that I can probably do more about right now, but find hardest to crack (as it feels like my last area of freedom :D)

Happy Hump Day
So Team... as it is Hump Day... Let's reflect on this past week, ore specifically what have you done to make sure you are moving forward? Let's have ONE thing that you have done to ensure you are travelling in the right direction... GO GO GO...

Late reply to this. This week I've taken advantage of a very quiet week at work and with my kids mostly being with grandparents, so managed to get in 3 runs and 2 gym sessions so far, with another scheduled for tomorrow. I've felt much better for being able to have a high number of sessions this week.
