Being active in a community to be rewarded?
Now that I am in 5 different Skool communities, I am already overwhelmed with "having" to interact and post just in order to get access to the locked videos/courses. If this is just the beginning of Skool, soon there will be tons of communities for everything, like on Facebook. How is this going to work out for users? My opinion: I would rather pay a fee to get direct access to courses and videos than spend time. For a hobby topic it might be different. I might indulge in comments and interaction, but for business ? Would be interested about your opinions/experiences on this.

It's a driver of digital burnout, and I am seeing more and more of it. The gamifying of every interaction ( dopamine blasts) is exhausting across all platforms, and if you genuinely want to share advice, people are less likely to do it if they are rewarded in this way, because it takes the pleasure away from it. Imagine if this happened in real human-to-human life, its just not natural.
Thoughts on the value of creative courses in the age of Ai.
With the incredibly rapid advancements in AI technology, there's a growing concern about its potential to render traditional creative processes obsolete. I have been pondering the value of creative courses in this AI-driven age, and I'm eager to hear your thoughts. How do you see the role of courses and eduction amidst the rise of AI tools, and what steps do you think we can take to ensure that creative education remains relevant and effective, safeguarding against the looming threat of redundancy?

AI can't take away your unique creative edge, your values, personality and unique perspective on the problem you solve, your ability to strategise or your combination of strengths. If your clients want authenticity, they are not going to go for anything artificial. I won't use AI service bots, for example, and if a business uses them rather than paying for someone to have a job, then I go elsewhere.

@Dexter Cagan I disagree with your point of view because we have very different values and visions of the world we want to live in. And to answer your assumptive question I certainly don't have Alexia, no Siri on my phone, I don't use Bing, or Grammarly or google. And no, I don't feel comfortable with any of the banks' immoral behaviours. I have a clear vision of the world I want to live in, a natural not artificial life in a natural universe. I want people to have jobs they love and can be freely creative and use their innate intelligence and creatively, because if they don't, then for sure mental health impacts will skyrocket. I want people to be prioritised over tech or greed. And if the last few years have taught us anything it's to be very critical of when fear is used to market anything. You may not remember when convenience food was marketed as the saviour to life's problems, oh how it was going to make people's lives so much easier and look where that's got people's health; addiction, early death, all sorts of brain and physical issues. So no, I won't be jumping on the messiah AI claptrap, I will continue to put people first, pay them a decent salary and continue to use my innate creativity, and I will continue to avoid using businesses that want to replace people with technology.
Preventing burnout
There is so much pressure in the hustle culture to extend ourselves beyond what is good for our wellbeing, what's your go-to practice for self-care in business and preventing burnout?

@Marisa Pell This is why I focus on prevention, hustle culture is rampant, and I see very successful online business women, still encouraging others as a road to success. Root cause is always the best path, sometimes that involves a cultural shift so that a dysregulated nervous system doesn't become an issue.

Could the times be linked to behavioural patterns, in which case it wouldn't matter what the time one is? Some of those time zones would be in the middle of the night otherwise.
🌻 Are you taking time off during summer? ☀️
If not (as much as you’d like), why? 😊 I’m taking a month off in July. 🤓 I’ve noticed if I rest during the summer, I’m in a better place to go into lauch in August. 🤗
