Wozers!
I'll not even try to describe the range of emotions that have been running in my system as I need to sit down and journal to let it sink in. (Amazing, Powerful, Mindblowing)E* XXL Steroids. I'm still trying to grasp the magnitude of it. Spaciousness, lightness, peace are profound yet it feels like I'm just seeing such a small portion of the iceberg. What a way to start the year! More reflection to come!

Give Yourself the Credit You Deserve! 🎉
I was pondering some interesting questions in the last few daysparticularly after Wendy's note on "settling" being the result of many small actions and choices. It hit me hard because in the last 24 months I kept settling on small things, not having the energy/ability to be my usual self. And this has been the cause of great frustration with myself. But then I started being curious instead of playing the blame game and wrote down a few things that I faced, survived, solved in the last 24 months. I created a sort of "done" list and that allowed to change the perspective. We (me in primis) often move through life at full speed, focusing on what’s left to do rather than celebrating what we’ve already accomplished. But here’s the truth: I am and you are achieving more than I/you realize. Every small action you take matters — from getting out of bed on tough days to showing up for others even when you’re tired. Too often, we diminish our achievements, lower our voice, and fail to recognize how far we’ve come. But you deserve to stand tall and own your story — not just the big milestones, but all the little wins that build the foundation of your journey. For example, just to prize a few... @Krista Brooks :you are aware of an issue and you are asking for help. @Emily La Fave :you are noticing some pretty incredible insight @Sally S : you are modeling freedom left right and center! @Jolene Goodson : you Lady, are amazing at recognizing the wins in others and you are an amazing cheerleader, even if sometimes you struggle to recognize your own greatness. @Valerie Kendall : the very Bestest Accountability Buddy and (Yes, bestest is an actual word, especially for teens) @Merridy Smits and @Michelle Wood : two fabulous leaders of Magic Hour. @Karen Jackson : Magic Hour Leaderboard Queen.

Yet another incredible call. Mindblowing is a gross understatement.
Who I am being
Hi, all. December was a whirlwind and I didn't have time to reflect on the insights that began with the You Unleashed program, but I figured it was a good start for January. I got the audio-only but didn't listen to the first December bonus call until over a week after it occurred. I gave myself a few days to mull that over and then listened to the second one. Not long after that was the monthly PCC call, and I have also been relistening to the PCC audios (on Step 2 right now). I have a lot of good momentum. For some history, I am multipassionate and generally have a terrible time with decision-making and focus. In my first career, I taught French and Spanish, in my second, I was a benefits administrator, and that has morphed into doing payroll, mostly for school districts. But I have always felt like there is something else I should be doing, something that is "mine," perhaps a business that is unique to my skills, interests, and experience. And I have done some entrepreneurial things-- going back to high school when I taught piano lessons, even to adults, I sold teaching aids (through Teachers' Discovery), I've tutored, not just French but ACT/SAT prep, been an Usborne Books at Home consultant, sold on eBay, started a foodie/lifestyle blog that didn't really see the light of day, resold books on Amazon, collected PLR material I haven't really turned into anything, considered course creation, and so on. For the past year (as Magic Hours participants know), I have been following a course to become a feng shui consultant, no so much to become a practicing consultant, but to use feng shui to support my dreams and find my purpose. I started hosting a monthly art night, partly to socialize, partly to hold space for artistic endeavors instead of deciding other things are more important. I fired up my Amazon book biz again, but too slowly to really take advantage of quarter 4 (Christmas) selling, and one night a couple of months ago I purchased a podcasting course. What?! I have not even looked at that yet, and it seemed to have nothing to do with anything (and had not interested me before), but seemed like a necessary leap of faith at the time that I bought it. I started a new [payroll in a private school] job a few months ago and that has been great, giving me much more margin for the other interests, and surprisingly not hitting the checkbook too hard despite the fact that it's only 30 hours a week.

Let Them
After the amazing New Year's Zoom, I immediately downloaded and started listening to Mel Robbins' book- The Let Them Theory. I highly recommend this book. What is occurring to me is what a vast amount of time I have devoted to being in other people's business (in my head) and thinking/knowing what is best for them. Do I even know what is best for me--do I practice what is best for my energy--not when I am disapproving of their lives and thinking I can "control" anyone else. When I disapprove of how people are acting--I say/think LET THEM--act the way they act. LET ME stay in my lane and keep my energy focused on what I can shift or change in my system.
