Welcome! Don't mind the dust...
First, thank you so much for joining Six Figure Writer! Second, we are still under construction... so, while there isn't a lot here yet, I will slowly be building it over the next few weeks! Third, you will play a major role in that construction - as I hope to still generate some value for you while the cranes are working their magic. If you have some copy you'd like an extra set of eyes on, a VSL you want feedback for, or just want to know how you can IMMEDIATELY start getting paid to write, please feel free to post or DM me! I'd love to help wherever and however I can!

Watch me earn $150 in 12 minutes ghostwriting a newsletter
No sound because my internet was being janky. Here are the cliff's notes (with timestamps if you want to watch the good parts): :15 - Client sent me her copy for her newsletter in my email - you'll notice it's not formatted or edited. Which is totally fine! That's my job and I love that clients feel comfortable trusting me to fix it! :32 - Before pasting the copy into Squarespace (this client's NL builder of choice), I take it and prompt ChatGPT to copyedit it, without losing the tone of voice or character (this is very important when ghostwriting!). 2:57 - I compare the copyedited version to what was actually written. This is another very important step. Clients like to use particular words or phrases and we don't want this particular newsletter to be TOO polished. So, I add in some things that ChatGPT took out. 8:13 - After checking each section and formatting in a way that people will read it best, I look for places to add value. This includes: - Links to the things they discuss - especially any sponsors or partners - Images that would work with the copy. In this case, she discusses taking a trip, so I find some images to snag off of her Instagram. - Scanability. If someone were to just scan this email (which many people do), how can I draw more attention to the sections. This could mean hard breaks in the copy, italicizing things, or boldening them. 11:39 - After that, I do one more scan and then add a subject line and preview text. I keep it simple and fun for this client. Finally, I sent a test email to the client and me to check over. She'll hit send on her end if she's good with it, but this depends on the client. Some have me hit send when I feel like it's in a good spot. This whole process took me 12 minutes, and for this client, I earn about $150 a week for editing and sending her newsletter. (A cool $750 an hour if keeping score at home). Not a bad way to start the morning! Any questions, shoot them in the comments!

Writing sales emails? Think ELF
Emotion, Logic and Fear are what drive purchases. Whether you’re writing 5 emails or 20, start with emotion, then move to logic, and finally fear. Then start it over again.

If you're a better reader or just need actionable takeaways without sitting through the entire video, here's a method that can save you time and help you create value for yourself—or even your clients. Step 1: Use YouTube Transcripts YouTube provides transcripts for most videos, making it easy to capture the content in text form. Here's how: 1. Find the video you want to work with (e.g., a business strategy video). 2. Access the transcript: On the desktop, click the three-dot menu below the video and select Show Transcript. Copy the entire transcript or specific sections you want to focus on. Step 2: Process the Transcript with ChatGPT Leverage AI to break the transcript into actionable insights: 1. Paste the transcript into ChatGPT with a prompt like: "Act as a business strategist. Please turn this YouTube transcript into a step-by-step system I can implement." 2. If the video is long, process it in chunks, focusing on the sections most relevant to your goals. ChatGPT will distill the information into clear, concise steps you can implement, saving you hours of manual work. For instance, it can take a 40-minute video about building a one-person business and deliver a summarized guide in minutes. Step 3: Refine and Expand Key Steps Once ChatGPT generates the framework: 1. Identify the sections or steps that resonate most with you or your audience. 2. Ask ChatGPT to expand on those sections. For example:Copy a specific step (e.g., "Generate Traffic") and ask ChatGPT to "break it out even more, offering extra insights to the reader." 3. Use the enhanced content to:Deepen your understanding.Create long-form articles, blog posts, or eBooks.Add value to your content by making it richer and more detailed.
