You can get in shape without ever needing discipline or motivation.

Imagine you're locked in a house, with no TV, no books, no games, nothing except the bare minimum to survive.
Apart from one thing: a home gym.
Every day, you receive a food delivery containing the perfect amount of calories to drop weight and gain muscle.
What do you think would happen?
Even if you hated the gym, you'd eventually get bored enough to start working out.
You'd only be able to eat the delivered food and nothing else.

Here's the secret: Environment is more important than discipline or motivation.
Is it easier to avoid eating the snacks in the fridge, or just not buy them to start with?
Is it easier to drive 20 minutes to the gym, or have a gym in your back yard?
By changing your environment, you can drastically reduce the discipline and motivation needed to hit your goals.
Discipline is your "safety net" when you can't control your environment.
It shouldn't be the primary driver of your success.
