Change jobs?
I have wanted to get REALLY big my entire life. It’s been a dream of mine. I am already a decent size. I work as a nurse, and I always seem to burn out when I try to take bodybuilding seriously. I work 12 hour shifts, and the schedule can be unpredictable (some weeks I only get 2 days off). In my hometown, there is this program where you only work the weekend… so I could dedicate the rest of the 5 days to training. I am thinking of doing this and moving back in with my parents to pursue bodybuilding seriously. My only worries is the lack of independence, and the sustainability of this method as a long-term solution. Let’s say that I do this, and I bulk for 6 months and then cut for another 6. My plan after this, is to move out and find a job with more traditional shifts. I wouldn’t be working 2 days per week anymore. I would need to adapt. My schedule would be (somewhat) unpredictable again. Would I be able to maintain those results with a less rigorous and more erratic routine? Am I even making sense here? Is this even a good idea?
