Celebrated author of the Cadwaladr Quests and Chronicles series Sheena Ager is hosting a family vocabulary session on Wednesday, 27th November at 5:30 PM. This approach not only enhances communication but also makes mastering 11-plus vocabulary easier! In this interactive session, Sheena will guide you through how to use ‘tricky’ words in everyday conversations, helping vocabulary become a natural part of life. There will be a particular focus on contronyms, a fascinating type of word with opposite meanings depending on context. Before the session, a sample chapter from Sheena's book Tangled Time will be emailed to you. Please read it in advance to get the most out of the discussion. During the session, we’ll explore creative ways to bring tricky words to life in daily interactions, helping you and your children build a strong and practical vocabulary.
