Branding Your Book - Fonts (helpful tool recommendation)
First impressions matter, and branding matters. Fonts can easily become an obsession when it comes to figuring out a books cover. Genre research gets us pretty far in recognizing patterns but I doubt many (if any) of us are typographers. So even if we recognize a pattern to font styles, how do we identify it to recreate it? Recently I found a cool online tool that helps with identifying fonts from an image. Pop the images you've collected while researching into here (https://www.myfonts.com/pages/whatthefont), it can identify a font with AI and get you pointed in the right direction for finding something that suits your books branding within its genre.

Raptor Write
This was recommended by Jason Alexander, but the gist of this is that Raptor Write is basically a sort of freeware creative writing software where you bring in AI via API keys (so it can even be a sort of "pay as you go" model too if you use models like Claude or ChatGPT) and prompt writing. It's the closest thing to a free version to NovelAI (NovelCrafter from what I've seen of the videos is its own beast altogether) and it's worth checking out. Below is the video from Jason.
