First time I've heard of Recraft so this is what I've used.
Q: What's your writing style?
Are you a Plotter or Pantser? ___________ Just in case you're new to this: PLOTTERS plan and outline their stories in advance, often with a detailed beat sheet or scene-by-scene outline. Plotters tend to write more efficiently because they know what needs to be written and what doesn't. PANSTERS write by the seat of their pants, inventing the story as they go along. Pantsers may have an idea or concept for their story, but they don't know where it's going. They may start with a blank page and let the story develop organically as they write.

So I have a "plot" planned out, but when I write it, sometimes the plot just changes on a whim.
Where does the bad guy go from here?
Does anyone have a template or method for planning an antagonist's character ark?

For me, I basically go "how are they a foil to the protagonist?" and then unravel that ball from there.
Raptor Write
This was recommended by Jason Alexander, but the gist of this is that Raptor Write is basically a sort of freeware creative writing software where you bring in AI via API keys (so it can even be a sort of "pay as you go" model too if you use models like Claude or ChatGPT) and prompt writing. It's the closest thing to a free version to NovelAI (NovelCrafter from what I've seen of the videos is its own beast altogether) and it's worth checking out. Below is the video from Jason.

@Erich Treeby Far from it.
WIPs
So, what are you all working on? I am working on a "The Lost Boys" inspired novel. There are going to be three to five books in the series. I also have outlines for a witches series of books.

Oooh, Lost Boys sounds interesting. As far as actual books are concerned, I never really got started on any, but one idea I do want to do is write a Christmas story using NovelAI (I know Jason didn't recommend it but NovelAI was the reason I even jumped into AI writing in the first place and its set up really allows for writing in that genre). That or do something with Raptor Write.

I like writing for fun and if and when I DO use AI, it's mainly for sprinkling here and there.
