Q: What's your writing style?
Are you a Plotter or Pantser? ___________ Just in case you're new to this: PLOTTERS plan and outline their stories in advance, often with a detailed beat sheet or scene-by-scene outline. Plotters tend to write more efficiently because they know what needs to be written and what doesn't. PANSTERS write by the seat of their pants, inventing the story as they go along. Pantsers may have an idea or concept for their story, but they don't know where it's going. They may start with a blank page and let the story develop organically as they write.

@Alex Styliaras I'm the same way. I'mcaught up in character building and love it. World building on the other hand, a bit challenging.

@Brigitte Billings Fortunately, you have access to an assistant to throw you a rope if/when you get stuck.

Hey there, @Patrick Dinehart! Do you use AI in your website building?

@Patrick Dinehart I love Ratchet & Clank, but it's been years since I've played.
New to Writing
I had an idea for a fun little side project about a year and a half ago, thought it would take me a few weeks to a month using AI to get done... Needless to say, it didn't go as planned and 6 months later ended up finishing a full book. Since then I have two books half written and just finished a Novella back in October. Big thanks to @Jason Hamilton and his vids on writing with AI and reviews and suggestions about the best tools to use.

"F" in High School English, Now Paid To Publish
It's true, I got an F in High School English and had to go to summer school. And today, I write Hallmark-style clean romance with a partner. Revenge of the "slacker student"!!! 🤣 Anyway, I'm Ramon. I started watching Jason on YouTube about a 9 months ago (?) and have appreciated his insight while exploring and learning ChatGPT, Claude, Scrivener, ProWriting Aid, Novel Crafter, Sudowrite, Plottr, Vellum, etc. My most recent stack to author an experimental 3-part cozy mystery series: ChatGPT, Google Docs, Pro Writing Aid & Vellum I'm here to connect, share ideas, and "publish in public." PS: I got the invite out-of-the-blue today and joined because I like the idea of being a "story hacker." For me, publishing popular fiction isn't so much about being a brilliant writer as it is mastering the art of decoding, assembling, and publishing good stories people love. So "Story Hacker" is a perfect moniker. I want a tee-shirt!!! 🇸🇹🇴🇷🇾 🇭🇦🇨🇰🇪🇷 ______ Publishing resume: – authored first NF book in 2014 – using AI since early 2023 (OpenAI) – writing with AI since mid 2023 (Claude) – 8 Kindle fiction books, 3 with the help of AI – 23 digital products, short books, action guides, etc.
