Employment Agreement
I don't think I published this before. I thought I had but I realized I didn't. In the link below I've included our actual employment agreement under Universal.
Things to note:
1) State laws vary. I actually had one for DC employees, one for VA employees, and one for MD employees because laws different so much. Keep that in mind. I scrubbed this to be more generic but it doesn't mean it's the best fit for your laws. Definitely consider a legal review.
2) We offered benefits like paid holidays for everyone, paid time off, etc. If you don't offer these, definitely don't include them. We had also offered health insurance and a 401(k) in the past. I omitted those but of those of you reading it, and offer that, I'd be happy to DM those sections.
3) Some of these rules sound extreme but with every rule, there's a story that necessitated that rule. I'd be happy to share scenarios.
4) I scrubbed Universal's name and replaced it with "Company". I do recommend NOT using "company" as generic legalese.
Enjoy!
