Sales Is Seduction, Not a Rape Sales isnโt about forcing things, itโs about having power to make people want what you want them to do. if someone is wearing a coat in the room, Instead of telling them to take it off, just turn up the heat. Make it feel like it was their idea all along. 2. Donโt Answer Questions Hereโs the trick: whoeverโs asking the questions is in control. If they ask you a question, donโt just give a plain answer. Ask them something right back. If they ask, โWhat results can I expect?โ you can say, โWhat results are you aiming for?โ It keeps you in the driverโs seat, so youโre steering the conversation. 3. Listen More, Talk Less Youโd think sales is all about talking, right? Wrong. Itโs about listeningโreally listening. Theyโre your best source of information. Who are they? What do they want?
