Day 67

The answers aren't out there (yet) ๐Ÿ“บ Do something (more) productive with your time โฐ
D67Unpack
Not sure which rubs me more the wrong way:
Voluntarily participating in a system that is clearly flawed and that I adamantly do not believe in
or
Sitting idly by outta protest, outwardly devoid of the informative passion(s) that prove 'I care' (about the future, about my friends & family, about women, babies, aliens, pussy grabbin' this country...)
FUCK
Few other competitions out there do I find myself not rooting for a winner,
but rather lobbying for a loser
How is that Sports?
I mean politics ๐Ÿ™ƒ
Ding ding ding
And we have ourselves a winner
๐Ÿ†
Ps & side note redeeming antidote which negates all the fuckery surrounding my 'civic duity' drudgery.
Upon arriving at my local polling place (a church & 15 min before closin), a fellow with a crock pot was walking out the door, so I made the comment during registration: 'hey, must have missed the party cuz i saw the Crock-Pot leaving'. Proceeded to get my ballot, did my (lesser of 2...wanna stab my eyes out) due diligence, let the kind elderly man 'show me how the machine works' and as I took a step towards the door to exit, a woman's voice stopped me and said: 'hey come with me, I have a crock of pulled pork in the kitchen'. Her name is Janice, she had big (grand) mom energy and her little deliciousslice of slow cooked humanity reassured my faith,
not in this flawed fucked up system,
but is in People Who Care going out of their way to show it & share it
...next time around, my vote is for (more) Janice(s)โœ…๏ธ
