Who in this group enjoys having clean drinking water or water to flush your toilet 🚽? Raise your hand. 🤚We tend not to think of how the sausage is made. The water just magically appears and we go on our merry way. But have you thought about where the water comes from? How it is treated so that it's safe? There's a whole crew of people working at water/waste water treatment plants to bring us our clean water. 🥛There is a huge demand for water and waste water operators at treatment plants. I know because I've been to their trainings and began an internship program to funnel potential operators from high school into those jobs. It's an excellent career for someone who enjoys working with their hands, wants to start work right out of high school, and doesn't necessarily want to go to college. They may event start out at $15-20 with no certification and once certified that could double.🤑 As we go I would love for people to add other careers they think could be of importance to our youth.
