As we have been following along with Jared I wanted to share with you the first time his eyes were really opened to the power of networking. 🤝 After the director from OTCO met with Jared he told him he wanted him to come to a workshop that evening so that he could meet some of the people working in the municipalities. At first, Jared couldn't see the value in going 🧐because after all, he was just a high school kid. But his mom told him he should go and off he went. 🚙The director took Jared under his wing and introduced him to so many people that night. Jared walked out of there with projects to work on and he hadn't even started‼️ That one experience showed Jared the value of networking and all that can transpire from it. In our next post I'll have to tell you how the power of networking helped me get my job at the non-profit. How has the power of networking benefitted you in the past? Share your story!

Hello you beautiful souls! My name is Tonya and I am supporting my son on his career journey. I thought, surely other parents need help in this area so why not support others along the way? I want to create a community of resources for parents to help their children find their passion and turn it into a career. There are lots of ways to do that which we will explore along the way. I have one biological son at home in high school and his desire is to make music and be a part of the Nerdcore Party Con (NPC) world. Don't know what that is? Just ask! I have two step-children who have pretty much flown the coop and are doing well!
