The next few days in the U.S. will be pretty hectic for most....cooking big Thanksgiving dinners, having family over, then maybe some Christmas shopping. So I thought I would ask today what you are grateful for? I am grateful for my kiddo for many reasons but a big one this year is because he brought me here to you all in this group. I don't know if many of you know, but it took me seven years to have him. For a long time I feared I would not get to be a mama. Then he decided it was time for him to make his appearance into this world 👶and my life has never been the same since. Without him, I don't know that I would be here in this capacity. It's my drive to help him that is my hope to inspire other parents. Much love during the holidays to you all. Amid the chaos and craziness your gratitude can make all the difference in the world. I know families can make for interesting gatherings but we must remember to treasure them. As I write this I remember the last Thanksgiving with my dad. He came to our new house and insisted on having the turkey legs. 🦃I am so grateful I gave him those turkey legs and that I took one last picture with him. His first and last selfie. A few weeks before he had walked me down the aisle with my son to hand me off to my husband and a new life. A few weeks after Thanksgiving he was unexpectedly gone. I don't write this to make you sad. I want you to be joyful for me that my dad got to walk me down the aisle and that I got that last picture with him. And what beautiful memories I have of Thanksgivings with my parents where friends and family👪 would rotate to our house all throughout the day. Now I'm grateful for our kids and the Thanksgivings we have with them. What are you grateful for during this holiday season?
