So I need to someone to come and hit me with the motivation stick!
After skipping weights last Sunday because my shoulder hurt (it’s a valid reason and very sensible of me, which is unusual)
Tuesdays weight session went out the window when cleaning the gym took longer than it normally does and I only had 20 minutes before the early crew turned up and I try to be out of there before I have to see anyone.
Thursday’s session, I planned to switch from upper body to legs and give squats and deads another go….. so most mornings I struggle, to varying degrees to put socks and shoes on due to lower back ache (sometimes it’s just a little bit, other times I hold my breath and do it as quick as I can while it really hurts) but Thursday morning it was hurting to sit on the loo as well 😏 and seeing as that is essentially a squat, I took it as a sign that it would not be a good day to try and do that with any kind of weight.
Now I’ve completely broken the habit of weight training after cleaning – should’ve done it this morning but I’m tired and if I’m honest, I really couldn’t be bothered 😏 i’m at the stage where I’m thinking I will write it off for now so I stop beating myself up for not doing it and start it again in the New Year….
