1) it’s going to be a ☀️ day 😁😁 2) it’s Tuesday so it’s my day off from residential cleaning - whoop whoop 😁

@Binny Snelling ooooo, I love my music too - have a speaker I take to homes so I can sing along if I want too - sometimes tho, I quite like the peace & quiet of silence 🤷‍♀️

@Binny Snelling I agree! It very much depends on what mood I’m in and where my head is at
13th - grateful….
1) not to be covering staff “sickness” my right hand at the lab broke her ankle and has been off for 4 weeks 😕 but now she is back 🥳🥳 2) with 8hrs cleaning on top of lab work - I’m really grateful my first “house” is a bungalow - no stairs 🥳🥳

I'm mostly new! Trying to be more active in the group.
I'm trying to get back into exercise. I haven't worked out regularly for about 20 years, I think! My plan is twofold: 1) Kettlebell swings - simple three sets of 10 on days I don't hurt from the last workout. 2) Walking - I think after supper, as my wife mentioned.

@Ian Hopfe how are the kb swings and walks going?

@Ian Hopfe now you know that’s not really a good reason…..you have to put time aside for yourself & exercising or nothing will change. Forget the kb swings for now and just get some walking in - set aside the time, whether it’s 1st thing in the morning (my preferred time to exercise) lunchtime or before or after tea. Don’t give yourself the option of not doing it. It’s NOT optional, it needs to be done, just like brushing your teeth - you wouldn’t skip that would you!
Zone 2 work…
Is there such a thing as too much zone 2 work? 🤔🤔 I have to say, that now I have access to a cross trainer, I think I’m getting a little obsessed with zone 2 - it’s easy (in a controlled environment) no weather to contend with, safe to do when it’s dark, the gym isn’t far from me, I can switch off and be away with the fairies - it’s actually quite relaxing! There doesn’t seem to be a downside……(waiting for @Sunny Durman to tell me what it is!)

@Mark Horwood it was a really unlucky accident, but you’re extremely lucky to have Debs at home to look after you!

@Mark Horwood Not being independent must be very frustrating - I hope I never find out exactly how hard having crutches is!

I’m so tired right now, all I can think about is going to bed so I am grateful for 1) my bed 2) that my family work as a team - when I’m dead on my feet and desperately need to sleep, which ever “child” (ones 16, other is 14) is home, they stay up and make sure the other one gets home ok so I can sleep - they know they can wake me if I’m needed.
