If you want to make a low volume training split work you HAVE to go to failure the majority of the time and train with high intensity.
If you want to make a high volume training regime work you HAVE to limit how often you go to failure so you have more time to recover
Low Volume requires less time, but doesn’t burn as many calories
High Volume burns more calories, but requires more time
