Saturday Late night

Still away, college visit. Last night we went to the Liberty Stadium to watch football. 1 minute and 25 seconds into the game, all 30 thousand fans were asked to find shelter. A thunderstorm was headed our way.

Although we eventually made it to the concourse, we were drenched, stuffed in the covered area for hours like sardines-just as stinky too!.Eventually after several discouraging delays we went back to our hotel to change into dry clothes only to hear that the game was finally resuming-this after a 4 hour delay due to the storms.

Our boys were thrilled! After all, we drove 500 miles to be here-and paid a pretty penny too. Off we went at 11pm back to the stadium for a showdown with the East Carolina Pirates. The game ended at 2 am. My head hit the pillow at 3am. It was worth it! And our team won!

6-1=5 total hrs of sleep thank goodness for eye mask and earplugs
