Want Members to Stay? Create Their ‘Aha!’ Moments

Focus on creating “Aha!” moments early and often.
What’s an “Aha!” moment? It’s when someone realizes, "This is exactly what I needed."
"Ok bro", I can hear in the back "how tf do we do that?" - Glad you asked.
- 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 (𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧): When someone joins, don’t overwhelm them with tons of content. Focus on solving one specific pain point within their first 24 hours.
- Example: fitness group? Help them calculate their macros. Marketing group? Give them a plug-and-play email template.
The faster they get a win, the more invested they’ll be.
- 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵: Most people leave because they feel lost. Fix that by giving them a simple roadmap that answers:
  • What should I focus on this week?
  • What’s my next step after that?
  • What’s the big win I can expect after sticking around for 90 days?
Pro Tip: Break it down into small steps. People love ticking boxes.
- 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗻: Got someone who implemented your advice and got a result? Shout it from the rooftops: post their success in the group, highlight them in a community email, create a “Hall of Fame”
Recognition makes people feel seen—and keeps them coming back.

2️⃣Build everything around delivering that
Because when your members win, they stay. And when they stay, they bring others. It’s that simple.
